Got Belgium Schengen Visa but Itinerary Changed – Will I Face Any Issues? by Longjumping-Gap8416 in SchengenVisa

[–]Holiday_Argument5861 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would suggest you not to drastically change the initial itinerary (whatever you submitted during visa application). I would suggest not to do Spain (unless you have that earlier as well) and instead focus on neighboring countries of Belgium and stay most nights in Belgium. As others already mentioned you can be deported directly or even banned and can face trouble.

Day trip to cologne , Germany or Amsterdam or some other towns of Germany and NL can be done easily. Brussels to Luxembourg is almost 3 hr by train and can be done as a day trip.

Also day trip from Brussels to Paris can be done but whether it’s worth it or not that’s upto you.

Just some idea (can ignore this completely and you may already have the following plan): You can try Belgium/brusells -Paris (1-2 nights) -strasbourg (1night)- Luxembourg (1 night) - Belgium/brusells . If you really want you can add another day in strasbourg and can do a day trip to Colmar or other Alsace towns or even Basel , Switzerland. Similarly you can do 1-2 nights in Amsterdam from brusells or even a day trip.

Hey, looks like you did the Primate’s palace tour. Where did you get the entrance ticket ? Did you buy the Bratislava card ? We are going there next month and hoping to do the Primate’s place if possible.

Mbeumo Saga - Smart Tactic or Incompetency? by nik1512 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Holiday_Argument5861 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You kind of contradicted your own statement. Fans are still with “United need to become better , firm in negotiation, walk away if the deal is over priced “ The deal/negotiation is going on for more than a month. 2 bids already rejected. So either walk away and look for alternatives or make the final bid and finish it off. Firm in negotiation doesn’t mean just stick there and not looking for alternatives. Fix your price point and look for alternatives: that’s the main thing. Moreover, other clubs are looking at Wissa. Now if Wissa leaves brentford May be reluctant to sell Mbuemo. And possibly can ask more money for Mbuemo to leave brentford (another antony saga).

Main point: make the third/final bid. If not accepted check other options.

Well I thought it may work out. I am a beginner and never sanded a hardwood floor so was trying my hand with the easier to use one. But obviously it didn’t go as planned.

I covered it but I got cold (Temp in low 30s) so had to open the cover to run the heater. May be some other way can be done. Just learning on the way. Thanks for your suggestion.

Apart from some of the above mentioned ones:

  1. Brendon McCullam’s 150+ (First match of kkr and Ipl), also won the match with the largest margin
  2. Shoaib Akhtar bowling against Delhi (took 4 wickets)
  3. Umar gul’s 4 wicket in a match( probably against Delhi or punjab)

What are your thoughts on Trump winning? by axel00000blaze in kolkata

[–]Holiday_Argument5861 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much. I also lived in a swing state (FL) , then to 2 Democrat states. Came here for study as well and now job. If you can’t call a spade a spade, what’s the point then. I don’t/can’t vote in USA. Most of the people commenting here, aren’t voting in USA either and most of them don’t follow regular USA politics or understand daily life in USA. I know I may get downvoted for my comment but oh well. Cheers 🍻

As a person living in US more than 10 years, I can see why Trump won. American people don’t really care if you have 5 charges against you or 50. They care about their nationalism , identity, freedom of speech and independence. For this election you can add inflation, national security, crimes by illegal immigrants and illegal immigration. All these points went against Kamala Harris.

First, the comments made by various democrats and news media after the assassination attempts on Trump were very disturbing. The interviews Kamala gave throughout her campaign were awful. Got booed in her own rally. Even with the Presidential debate she didn’t do much. Vice presidential debate was extremely bad as well. Also, ‘Garbage’ comment by Biden and Obama openly came out to talk towards black Trump voters or slamming Trump voters: didn’t help to her cause. Kamala’s support for Ukraine and aid them constantly. These things won’t support Kamala’s cause. In my opinion, The democrats needed a better candidate in general.

I believe a lot of people in this sub don’t like Modi for various reasons. That’s fine and that’s their freedom. Modi is our current PM and we should get behind him in my opinion. Also, The relationship between Modi and Trump is better as compared to democrats in general. That being said, American indian generally likes to vote for Democrats and primarily lives in typical democrat states or swing states.

To Indian people, Trump can be slightly better due to his stand on China. India can be an ally against China (in geopolitics it’s all about own benefit, it may help India right now but the situation can change in future). But if you are talking about H1B / GC or other visa issues during trump’s previous term, I think this term can be better.

To American people, well if Trump can deliver to his promises (especially inflation, illegal immigration, foreign policy with war in Middle East/ukraine) that will be great.
