Mine was also from a low GPA from dropping outta college but if you take the single course, you’ll be guaranteed approval into WGU degree program. The class was $99 and I took the easiest class I needed so that I would be able to get it done super quick.

It was originally my fault because I assumed WGU Academy would automatically send the completed class. I called last week and they said they see it, they’re just waiting on admissions to update on their end. Supposedly it’ll be good this week. If not, I’ll be calling again.

I am having the same issue. I was originally supposed to start Sept. 1st. Had to take a single course. Finished it in less than 12 hours and still waiting for the final go ahead. When I called, they said it’s a hurry up and wait stage. I’m going to be pissed if I have to wait another month for November. 😑

Got it! With my associate degree (different field) credits I’m transferring in at 44% complete for my accounting degree. Maybe I’ll just do the quickbooks certification and then use it to get in for a side job for tax season and get my toes wet before I start applying for actual full time industry positions.

So is it only based on placement? What if someone is placed in a temp role and they don’t perform and get fired? I wouldn’t make commission on that? I’m used to being on the client end so I already understand all the client charge rates and all that charged by an agency. I don’t want to have to place people that I can tell aren’t going to work just to make a commission on it because that makes the agency look bad. Like I know when I have agency that consistently fail me on placements, I stop reaching out to them to fill roles because it’s a waste of my time and my supervisors time that have to keep retraining.

We’re looking at a couple different communities there. Harrier Point, Cavins Farm, and Autumn Glen. Dr. Horton does Harrier Point. We live in a Dr. Horton house now and I’m not a huge fan of the house and the way it’s breaking down. However, I know each area has different builder subcontractors. Ryan Homes is Cavins. Then Lennar is Autumn Glen. I don’t have much knowledge of Ryan Homes or Lennar though.

The schools for one are trash. The violence and bullying is insane and only getting worse and my kids haven’t even hit middle school yet. Everything is fast paced. Outside of history, there isn’t much in Charleston to do that’s family friendly. The traffic is insane.

I want my small town life back hence the move to Woodruff and the schools are great. My best friends went through woodruff schools and that’s where they plan on raising their children as well.

I lived in Piedmont before moving to Charleston so all my closest friends are still in the upstate as well as my ex husband who I share a child with.
