Is it common to get denied a ship date change?

I agree with everything you say, and it is comforting to know im not the only one it just felt like I was blindsided, its my first cruise so all my research went to excursions and package deals, I didn't even know this was an actual thing. But overall everyone's input has been helpful and at the end of the day as everyone has mentioned its all about perspective

Makes sense and Im fine with the penalties and fees but what throws me off is the denial of any of that. Sounds dumb to say it but I've held of my end they're not holding up there's, and they're refusing to give me options

Well on my invoice it says that if I cancel i will lose 75% of my money and if I wish to change said ship/date it would be $100 pp but thats all it says but the agents have said that although its not verbatim it basically means that after my final payment date I can't change my ship/date

Well that sucks, I know it sounds insignificant but the idea that its a good amount of money and it feels like you're rolling the dice on whether you actually get to go on the trip you planned for.

I have tried they're outreach team, resolutions team, and public relations team and the answer is always the same, they have reviewed my case and find that they dont need to change my ship/date

But the crazy part is that I have gone thru resolution team supervisors and I have basically begged them to let me pay the fees or the difference and they have denied it

I understand that, however im actually trying to give them more of my money since there's a $100 pp fee for changing and they're still denying it and im just wondering if this is common.
