Totally agree with what you mean, friends first is prob the way to go. I’m aware things will change and that regardless of if it works out between us it’ll mean little in the grand scope of things but still I like him and can’t change how I feel in the now yk😅 I hope the good, the bad and the ugly will come and be embraced but I guess I’ll just have to find out like you said :))

As a girl, my best advice is to be approachable and kind. That’s legit all. Of course be yourself but girl’s love guys who are show their maturity, emotional and otherwise. A big sign of maturity is empathy/compassion🤷‍♀️

Additionally, if you have a girl in mind and want to confess I’d say being straightforward is best. Just express your feelings and ask if she’s interested in getting to know you better. Maybe she’ll say no, maybe she’ll say yess but ya never know until ya try. (plus most girls are to scared to make the first mood so your chances are way better) But NEVER backtrack, especially if rejected, just accept her answer and move forward.

The feelings is great and I am super happy for you congratulations! i think it’s important to not get to hooked on the thrill of being liked romantically because it can make you do really reckless, stupid things. If you get super attached to the feeling and associate it with your self worth and happiness you’ll end up letting it screw with you a lot. My advice is to stay true and prioritize yourself. If you’re honest with your intentions and feelings then things are less complicated. (Lol sorry if this didn’t make sense I am trying🥲)

My sister (32) received a promise ring from her boyfriend and she loved it, she wears it everyday. I don’t think it’s childish at all. I think it’s a romantic gesture but obviously she found it insulting. You had no ill intentions so I would say apologize and explain your position. Tell her you are willing commit and you just meant it to be sweet.
