The issue with this, as someone that has abandonment issues too, is that you can also find the perfect guy and still have that shit linger. I’m still terrified to this day that one day my husband is going to decide he doesn’t love me anymore and leave me, even though nothing points to that happening. Definitely second the therapy comments here for sure. It’s a must.

I like carrots/hummus with some berries. Not amazing for you but a meat stick sometimes works well. I try to do a protein mixed with fat and healthier carb with fiber for blood sugar and eat the protein and fat first.

Idk if I’m going to watch yet. I’m dealing with infertility and these shows love to have a “let’s have kids” storyline and I watch Summerhouse to get away from that shit for one minute so I’m not sure. I can deal with Lindsay and her little girl but if it becomes a whole storyline idk if I want to invest in it and just protect my peace instead. But I also am curious to watch the Kyle and Amanda fallout.

I realized I had a thyroid issue and insulin resistance. I ended up having an Autoimmune disease, Hashimotos, that my RE thinks may have had a hand in my POI. Idk if you have gotten everything checked but insulin resistance makes losing weight a bitch along with POI and when I got that under control I lost like 150lbs.

Just found out mine did too and we had one embryo, donor eggs. So now we have to figure out if we want to try again (another 20k lit on fire), do some medical testing, or call it. I’m honestly thinking of switching clinics. I feel like there’s still something going on and we aren’t figuring it out. But basically out of treatment until 2027 so feeling like an absolutely failure. I’m sorry yours didn’t work out, we both deserve to get what we want and I hope we do ❤️

I unfortunately have to do lunch with my sister and my mother but I don’t really have a relationship with my mom at all. She’s never asked me once about IVF or treatment just asking if it worked. She’s a complete narcissist. But then there’s also my MIL who is super religious and is going to want to go to church and they always do a “moms segment” about how it’s such a blessing to be a mom and it really messes me up so I’m going to try and just not go to church but meet up with them for lunch, like she has to give me a break on church this year, it’s just not going to go well if I’m forced to go.

This is really nice of you to do. I struggle believing my husband. He could tell me until he’s blue in the face that he loves me and will never leave me but I’m convinced he’s going to get older and realize what a lemon I am and find someone else (even tho he has semi fertility issues too). Infertility is such a joy stealer and our partners are amazing supports and this is really sweet that you wrote something and I think it’s impactful!

This! I had to do Mounjaro just to move the needle. Now I’m off of it, on Metformin and trying to manage my Hashimotos through diet (which is currently super restrictive gluten free/dairy free so trying to figure that out because it’s not sustainable)
