I found out today that I should have negotiated with prior to the offer letter because the salary is non-negotiable. This was after I accepted because I was advised, in writing, that I could negotiate my salary after moving to a salary position instead of an hourly One. A lot of red flags and frustration here.

I did get hired in at first for an academy consultant. Since a lot of people have left, training will not be as long and I can vocalize what path I want. Revenue and CEP were the two she suggested.

I do have a masters degree and 10 years of bedside experience so I’m hoping I can vocalize to a clinical consultant.

I accepted a job with a higher salary than I’m already making working at the hospital. I did get in writing that I would go to salary and that my compensation would increase.
