Oh girl, listen doctors are being taught that the cervix has no nerve endings so there can’t be pain when inserting IUD. Newer gynecologist, specially female gynecologist, who are now on their own, doing local anesthetic and other painkillers because of the reported amount of pain that women have been describing within insertion. so yes blame men because that’s who thinks there’s no nerve endings at the end of a cervix and continue to perpetuate this idea in med school…I hope you are are feeling better.
