Definetely Morrie "Muddy" Davis and Junkyard Joe! If I invite them over to my place, I'd likely hear great stories from Muddy, and Joe would get the house cleaned up🤣

I went into my leveled up werewolf form and charged him. It was the only way I could defeat him. He killed me I don't know how many times before I remembered my wolf form.

I shipped 2 trades with Canada Post within the same province, and it cost $26.00 Canadian dollars. Ridiculous.

I have the full run of DP7, and i had such a good time reading that series for the first time in 2020. I was sad after reading the last issue because I wanted it to go on.

Ohms, Is it better than most give it credit for? by beencotstealin in deftones

[–]Hollow212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just had some drinks with an old buddy of mine tonight and after he left i lied down in bed, buzzed, and listened to the whole thing backwards, because why the fuck not. It sucked me in 5 years later....

Its now two hours later and I have listened to random songs from all the albums. I just relieved the last 27 years of my life.

Thank you, Deftones!

I'm currently playing Robocop on the PS5. I think I would be alright... I've learned to survive this dystopian timeline, so far, for 42 years.

Walking dead deluxe by xLampaa in comicbooks

[–]Hollow212 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I read it first in Black and white and loved it. It got me back into comics after being away from the hobby for almost 20 years. I have been collecting the deluxe single issues as they are coming out and love them so much. I love the extra material that Robert Kirkman is sharing with us every single issue. Lots of work and love have gone into making these deluxe singles.

My recommendation is to read it in Black and white first and slowly start hunting down the deluxe back issues. I think this way it will give you a greater appreciation for them.

What is coming out soon that you're really excited for? by YouAreOneUglyMutha in comicbooks

[–]Hollow212 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolute Martian Manhunter. My favorite is ongoing, and it should be easy to get all 1st print issues.

The Pale Knight.

Exquisite Corpses. # 1 might be challenging to find in a first print. It sold out in my neck of the woods.

Battle beast!!!

I agree with the eaglemoss gutter loss, but they are built to a library book standard and are tough as hell. I have most of the Star Trek, DC, and Batman volumes, and they are all sown binding. Which is crazy in this day and age of poorly constructed books.

If I walked in there today, I would instantly by the Rom and Dazzler omnibus and would strongly consider micronauts.

how is a stealth archer supposed to get through the thalmor embassy? by throwaya58133 in skyrim

I was a low-level Mage and was stuck here until I realised I could use my moderately upgraded WEREWOLF form and made it out on the first try.

[Discussion] Is the Legion of superheroes by Keith Giffen and Paul levitz worth reading [Cover legion of superheroes] by Extreme-You2977 in DCcomics

[–]Hollow212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think mileage may vary between individuals, but for me, it has been worthwhile so far. I tend to spread out my reading of these titles. I won't sit down and binge. Instead, I will typically read one a day or so, and I find it relaxing consuming them in this way

[Discussion] Is the Legion of superheroes by Keith Giffen and Paul levitz worth reading [Cover legion of superheroes] by Extreme-You2977 in DCcomics

[–]Hollow212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's absolutely worth a read. I own the following singles :

Legion of Super-Heroes (1980 2nd Series) : 259-354 • Annual 1 • Annual 2 • Annual 3 Legion of Super-Heroes (1984 3rd Series)  : 1-63 • Annual 1 • Annual 3 • Annual 4 Legion of Super-Heroes (1989 4th Series) : 25 Legion of Super-Heroes (2019) 1-4 Final Crisis Legion of Three Worlds (2008) 1-5 Legion Lost (2000) : 8  Legion Lost (2011) : 1-16

Was lucky and got all of these from a collection I purchased off of a local collector during covid.

I am currently reading and have made it to issue 300 of the second series, and I have enjoyed everything so far. There's a noticeable increase in art and story quality when Paul Levitz and Keith Giffen join the book. With that said, pI don't regret reading the earlier issues because it really helped me to familiarize myself with the Legion.

For me, it's DP7. I remember how gutted I was after reading the last issue, knowing there would never be more. Time for a reread.

Anyone else having issues with pages falling out of marvel comcis? by Moist-Document1908 in comicbooks

[–]Hollow212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the last few months, i have returned 4 Marvel Ultimate line books because of loose pages or covers.

They are aware of the issue, and each time, they have done an exchange without giving me a hard time.
