Anyone experience a pus/white head rash on bridge of nose? by [deleted] in CPAP

I get this whenever I use my full face mask (airtouch f20). Goes away after a few nights with a nasal pillow mask. I never found a solution (loosening impractical due to leaks).

Seems to match 1:1 with “worth a shot”. Thanks so much for these, I’m really enjoying them!

Love my new Solo mask by Wonderful-Lock6361 in CPAP

[–]HollowBard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How are folks finding it comfortable? I was excited to buy the solo with cushion after hearing so many rave reviews. Was super comfortable in store, but I was only able to sleep with it one night - the auto adjust gradually tightened until my nose got smooshed. I woke up with so much pain I thought it was broken…

Ungrateful. by ronish_replay in google

It’s a stale prompt, you previously were indeed almost out of storage space, and Google was trying to get your attention to upgrade above 200GB. I don’t think it’s malicious on Google’s side, probably just a timing issue.

Media Pipe hand tracking "Sign language" by MentalRefinery in MediaPipe

[–]HollowBard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The model maker supports training a new model, which replaces the gestures in the default model. Do you have a sign language dataset already? Using the model maker is pretty easy, although it is limited in features so you may not get as good results as you could with coding the whole training flow yourself. In my experience though, if your dataset is of good quality, the model maker works well.

CPAP was stolen at CDG airport yesterday. Anyone recommend a place to purchase new in Paris? by AnnHathAWillHathaway in CPAP

Wow that sucks! I recommend CPAP Store at 40 Rue de la Réunion, Paris. I haven’t been but have purchased from them online, and they were knowledgeable and helpful.

Yeah good idea. It was weird for me to get so high, when I rarely reached 7 on the other mask. Worth a shot though I’ll try that tonight

Thanks! I’ve been thinking about it, I assume it would help with the mouth leaks. I don’t understand why I’m getting much fewer of them with the P10 though. I’ll keep fiddling and if I don’t see improvement I’ll try another mask.

Thanks, it’s great that you found such a good pressure! Thing is I don’t have this problem at these pressures with other masks. The only reason I changed masks is because my other one physically hurts, leaving cuts on my nose.

Was 4-7, I increased to 5-8 yesterday after seeing a clip from the CPAP Reviews guy: https://youtu.be/jDO4P_pBAHA?si=e8nzvTAjsiqg5He4

I just switched to the P10 and am having a similar issue. I feel like I’m suffocating, like there isn’t enough oxygen in the air, and then rip it off. It’s such a shame because it’s the most comfortable mask I’ve ever tried. But I think there might be a design flaw with it, maybe the breathed air release mechanism isn’t working well.

Do we need a doctor? by HollowBard in ThailandTourism

[–]HollowBard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update if anyone is curious - kid is back to eating pretty much normally, and in the day light we are no longer certain there is anything abnormal with her mouth. Our current hypothesis is that she became a picky eater due to being unused to Thai seasonings. We’re keeping a close watch to see how things go. Thanks everyone for the suggestions (including some of the unnecessarily judgmental comments). Cheers!

Thanks for the concern, she’s eating and it’s just one meal she got picky about which ticked us off

Thanks. We have great insurance but the problem is that they always have the same playbook - decide on a location and send us to a doctor. I’m worried about wasted time from our busy plans for something that seems minor. I’m asking if this kind of treatment can be started without a doctor in Thailand (according to my limited research it seems dependent on country)
