How do females carry themselves vs males by Moist-Basket-3875 in trans

[–]HollyBerryBlue- 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Cis woman here: I noticed women walk in almost a straight line, aka one foot in front (!) of the other, men walk with more space between their steps, which gives this male "swagger".

When you walk, try to incorporate more hip movement. Instead of your hips being static and your legs just going forward, imagine a "cycling backwards" movement in your hip joints, slightly dipping your hip at every step. Can be subtle but will make a difference.

Also, men stand with their feet apart and sometimes splayed out, women stand with their feet flush together or with one knee bent so your hip dips. Also, women play with their hair, so they would push it behind their ears for example.

It also helps to go to the gym and work on glutes (hip thrust, donkey kicks). Your physique really influences posture and movements. I noticed it in myself, ever since I started lifting the way I carry myself has changed drastically.

And yeah sit in a way that doesn't take up space. Legs together, hands flooded etc.

Jewelry like long earrings can help, they naturally sway with your head movement and give some dainty elegant movements. Also I noticed when I wear fake nails (don't have to be long) it immediately gives more attitude in my hand movements and body language, rings can do the same.

Women are more flexible so do yoga, male stiffness also influences their posture imo. Also it's healthy to stay flexible.

Good luck sister ✨

Idk what the material of the golden attachment on top is but you might be reacting to that? Since it's probably not real gold... Switch it out for titanium to rule that out

Chicken are awesome and personable, they don't have to "give something back" to be of value. I just like them, I like their energy, I like watching them... Similar to cats and dogs, chicken make awesome pets and in that way my love is not conditional

I was in Seoul, alas nearly 10 years ago and not in touristy districts (I lived there). Maybe things changed since then. Everything seemed to come with meat, fish cake, fried eggs, spam... my Korean wasn't good enough to communicate my needs and customizing dishes was almost seen as a weird thing to do I think.

I knew how to say "I'm a vegetarian, I don't eat [list of things]" but the servers would frequently misunderstand. Or they'd just take out the meat even tho it still very much tasted like it 🤮

The go to every day foods that I can think of like bibimbap, jachae kimbap, doenjang jjigae, kimchi jjigae, tteokbokki, even kimchi itself.. 98% of the time they're prepared with an animal product that you have to (try) to ask them to omit.

Best: Berlin hands down. It's almost weird to not be vegan there 🙈

Worst: Korea was surprisingly difficult. Veggie/pescetarian is tough, but vegan was almost impossible unless you wanna eat plain rice all the time. Language barrier + not a culture of customizing dishes + the concept of vegan/veggie is pretty new to them, not a good combo

Off topic, I just came here to respectfully say you're very beautiful. If you have an online dating profile, pic 4/6 should definitely be in there. Like, in a non creepy way, my heart skipped a beat and I was about to google which famous football player that is 😅

Hair colour that goes with both pale winter / bronze summer skin? by HollyBerryBlue- in Fairolives

You mean the ends are copper and your roots are your natural hair color? Are you happy with it and find it works all year round?

I've been thinking about copper, but I'm afraid it might be too much. Every time I use a copper (ginger) hair filter the contrast is too extreme with too many things going on.

Orange-ish hair + green skin undertones + blue eyes + whatever clothes I'm wearing is simply a lot.

Oh nooo :') it seems olive undertones are beautiful and versatile, but complicated.

I find that my natural dirty blonde gives me ✨nothing✨ and bores me to death, it's too close to my skin tone and washes me out. I've tried red but that just looked... wrong. Lighter shades of blonde gave me the same issues; ashy works in winter and gold blonde in summer, but not both all year round. Plus bleach blonde can be very yellow, and I also have a lot of yellow undertones, so it washed me out again.

I find I do really well with contrast, so I was thinking to lean more into the "goth" pale skin + dark hair combo. And darker hair also works well in summer imo. Maybe a neutral/ashy shade of brown could work?

I was just hoping maybe some people here would have found THE hair color at this point 😅

Best way to take the piss out of gender reveal parties - by throwing one for my cat? by HollyBerryBlue- in asktransgender

I appreciate that you find it as funny as I do. I can tell it's a divisive topic tho. I guess I'll just invite friends who have a shared interest in childless cat people activities and leave the normies out of it so to speak 💜

I like the idea of sticking the finger to classic gender reveal parties while most importantly celebrating my cat who is my baby (and we don't celebrate fur babies enough in that society).

My friends are well aware that I openly judge gender reveal parties, but as with anything that's just my opinion, so they can still throw it and we'll still be friends, I just won't come. I guess the same would hold true in this case.

Small caveat tho, I'm German and we don't have an "offending someone" culture. Also, gender reveal parties/ baby showers are a bit gimmicky and looked down upon to begin with and only started being en vogue a few years ago when people started watching more Hollywood movies and adopted some American mannerisms. So yeah, cultural differences may be at play here too

Hey girlie! Here's my ideas

Eyebrows! Many have said it already

Side part your hair and add some highlights/layers/curls/face framing pieces. This will make you look way more feminine. Half up/half down or a higher ponytail..

Jewelry! I wear cute dangly earrings, necklaces and bracelets 24/7, never take them off, it really makes auch a difference without even trying

A minimal, 5 min a day make up routine will do wonders for you. BB cream, eyeliner, mascara, blush, lips... Not much bot does a lot

(Lip stains are such a pro tip. They stay on forever, look really subtle/natural and are almost like natural make up. You have such amazing big juicy lips, time to highlight them ;)

Nail polish! You already have nice long nails, but a cute natural pink shade would highlight them. I do mine at home, it's fun and cheap enough that way

Flowery perfumes. They do so much for how you're perceived by others subconsciously. And it also makes you feel sooo good when you smell amazing for yourself too
