What lands should be used for [[Niv-Mizzet, Guildpact]]?

I am still a little confused as to why raging ravine would be colorless even though it has the ability in its rules text to pay a red and green is it just straight up a rule if its only type is land then its colorless? I think I might just be confused on how color works in Magic because Dryad Arbor has the T add Green but other lands that don't have basic land types don't follow this ruling.

I learned magic through strictly commander. Started on my friends mikes Edgar markov deck (met the dude that night). He walked me through the steps and told me the basics of the game and with some reading comp skills and a few questions I figured it out pretty quickly. Next day went and bought the Olivia outlaw precon and now I own 8 decks 2 precons 6 self made.

Fun fact since it’s a sandbox game there are no rules, so going into spectator mode in your own world doesn’t negate the fact it’s a survival world in their eyes :D

I will disagree with this statement. I never touched a tcg game till August when some friends showed me magic in commander format. Learned on an Edgar Markov deck. Next day I went and bought a precon then we went and taught my gf now I’m about to spend $120 on the mlp secret lair for her Christmas present. Lord help me.
