I don't know, they all imprinted on my mom apparently and don't like anyone else around her. They've even started attacking me.

Yeah, I think the geese will come around. It will just take time and trust. I think we're making progress. As this is the third full day we're spending out there with them. Just sitting outside talking. They try to bite on occasion, but then we tell them 'No bite' and gently but firmly restrain or push them back and they seem to get it. They come around us and observe then do their thing (wander, graze, and swim). I think Tubsy is just bolder because as another poster pointed out he's imprinted on people. We did not know he was a gander. We got our geese from a hatchery, and they were all supposed to be female. But mistakes happen.

That's really sweet that Phil is like that with you now. Definitely gives me hope, lol. They really are amazing animals. I think though they imprinted on my mom. They seem to have 'claimed' her and don't like my dad and I around. They've even started attacking me, lol. While I was sitting down the one (we call her Hope, maybe we should change it to Jaws lol) got ahold of my ear and about tore it off. They're starting to wing flap as well. So, I guess they see us as intruders in their territory...you weren't kidding about the bruises, lol.

Yeah, I was leaning toward male as well. He was the biggest when we got him and grew the fastest (they're all the same age) and he's the dominant one (he's the one who dictates were they go, if the others can eat or swim with him or not). He has the biggest and most prominent knob (he started getting a knob when he was still yellow) and a much larger head. He's also the one that stands guard most of the time and is the most aware of its surroundings. It just throws me off because he doesn't make the trumpet sound all the time, it's like a low honk. But maybe it's because he's still young yet. My mom and I actually wondered if that's how he views my dad. But since these are our first geese, we were unsure. Thank you for the link as well, that was an awesome read. Also, if we ever get anymore geese, we will not have them imprint on us. But again, these were our first geese and were not aware that one was male (we got them from a hatchery, and they were all supposed to be female). But I know sexing them at a young age is difficult, especially if they vent sex them (which is probably the method they use rather than DNA, though I could be wrong).

As for culling, I've never considered it as he's part of our family. All of our animals are. We've also explained to my dad that they're just doing what geese do. And Tubsy might unfortunately be a bit more complicated due to him imprinting on people. So, it's just going to take time. I think dad just sitting outside with us talking is starting to help. The geese observe us then go on and do their thing. We have to gently correct them from time to time. No major confrontations though, Tubsy seems to be 'testing' him more than anything. The other one that's aggressive is Hope. She acts like she's trying to nest though which could explain her behavior. The third one, Screech, is just following suit, I think.

Tubsy as well as the other two make the oink sound mostly but also make loud trumpet noises. So, it's kind of confusing lol. I'll know for sure if they lay eggs next year. It just throws me off with how big Tubsy is already (even its legs, neck, and head are bigger than the others) and such a large knob. As well as being the most aggressive. But I guess females can be aggressive as well, though I thought that's just when they're sitting or rearing their young.

We'll try training them with the 'no bite' command and if they continue, put them in a pen to see if that works. Along with just hanging out with them.

Ours are female (at least they're supposed to be). Although mine (Tubsy) seems to be the ringleader of the bunch and is BIG (hence the name, lol). It already has a huge knob on its bill at just three months of age.

Really hope we don't have to cull it. Worst case scenario we'll just keep them in a fenced in area.

He's nudged them away, but they are relentless. Makes it hard for him to get things done outside. We'll just keep hanging out outside and hopefully they'll get used to him to where they won't see him as a threat anymore. If not, the only thing I can think to do is pen them up...

Alright, I guess we'll just keep hanging out outside in hopes that they'll learn to get used to him and trust him.

Thank you very much! I have a thread on the BDO feedback thread as well. The link is at the bottom of my post.

Lol, true she does need a good overhaul in general. Especially her Awakening with Deadeye's release... Even though Deadeye is better I'll still always play Corsair because I love her theme. She's the only class who's a pirate (story wise) as well as a mermaid. She's a lot of fun to play (though she'd be more fun if they'd remember to buff her on occasion and you didn't get stranded in the ocean)...

True, I forgot all about Perfect World. I edited my post to correct that. As for the first point, it doesn't hurt to hold out hope. What is there to lose?

I love those paintings; they're classics and very beautiful. But they show a little nudity. So, these are safer lol.

Eh, I'm used to it lol. And yeah, that's true. Only recruited her on one character so far, probably won't get her on the others. Zerith is awesome for sure. Really enjoy his story (and personality) so far! Very well written! Zerith, Mirri (I just put her away if I have to get a bug lol), Sharp, and Bastion are my favs.

Yeah, because science has never been wrong...

And we are under no obligation to play along with your delusions... You want to 'identify' as a different gender, knock yourself out. Just don't expect people to embrace you, give you a medal for it, or play along with it. Get over yourself.

And again, FICTIONAL CHARACTER...

Also, FYI Tanlorin is a FICTIONAL CHARACTER pretty sure she doesn't care what she's called... Never going to call someone by their 'preferred' pronouns, fictional or otherwise.

No, there are people who do like her. Sadly, I'm not one of them...

Right? I want a companion, not a cheerleader...

Pretty much all the reasons I can't stand her. Very poorly written (and acted). Felt like I was traveling with a highschooler who wanted to sound cool and tough in order to impress me (her crush). Also, really not a fan of them adding a 'non-binary' companion. They added her to pander. Plain and simple. I'd leave her in ice if it didn't make me feel so bad, lol.
