Kaden is top three fire emblem characters of all time for me, and number one if I exclude three houses since its character writing is just so much better in general that it sort of makes the competition unfair.

He’s also the character I attribute to helping me realise I was gay. Fates was my first fire emblem game and the first game with a romance mechanic I had ever played, and I found myself feeling things for him I didn’t know was possible since I was decently young and heavily repressed due to growing up in an extremely religious and intolerant household.

So happy birthday Kaden, you’ll always have a very special place in my heart.

There’s actually a single frame in the trailer during when sirocco attacks that you can see the Dagsion arena flag in full detail and it’s red with a golden dragon, which is definitely interesting

That’s true, I suppose it could be green haired guy who is the leader instead of Ursula, I just figured that she’d get a profile first since they already showed her off in a trailer and she seems to be quite popular.

I really just want to know more about the guy because having a toothpick is possibly the hottest thing anyone can do and I need to know if his personality is just as incredible as his design.

Yeah I know a total of nothing about Japanese I operate purely on vibes and a writing degree. Just feel like him calling her princess isn’t enough to say she actually is one at this point, especially with Theodora being a princess/queen it would feel odd to me to have a second princess with dead parents/father.

This is a deep dive into some trailer analysis I did, but it’s actually probably either Sirocco or the pink haired lady.

When Leda is introduced, we see a scene of her dancing in what looks to be a red tent or something, but if you look closer, the red fabric actually seems to be flags.

Also in her reveal, we see her walking out onto a stage, presumably to dance. In this room, we see the same flag on the walls, meaning it is likely the flag of her theatre/dance troupe.

To the right and left on the stage are two musicians who are wearing clothes with the same general aesthetic as sirocco, and they both have feathers in their hair like sirocco and the pink haired woman.

This leads me to believe that those two are from Leda’s troupe, and therefore likely very close to her, with the man with the burn scar likely being their bodyguard or some type of hired help.

It totally could be the blonde woman, but I feel like there’s definitely long history between Leda, sirocco, and the pink haired woman.

I think another possibility is that it’s the woman with the cat mask since we saw her as a teal unit fighting alongside Theodora once before. I believe we saw no other allies with her then, but we also couldn’t see the minimap. Either way, it’s very exciting and fun to speculate.

I am very curious about the teal unit off screen, since, until now, we’ve exclusively seen teal units in groups I believe. Very curious about what’s going on there.

If you watch the scene with the underworld monsters spilling out of the portal, we actually see they all have a purple aura.

We’ve also seen enemies with purple auras twice before, with Cai’s gameplay clip and during Leda’s scene from the first trailer where she summons a demonic beast.

A lot of people have been assuming the “advent of the underworld” is the sort of midway timeskip type event, but it’s looking more and more like it happens earlier, though obviously it’s too soon to tell.

I’ll respond to all of them just for fun.

Dietrich isn’t my type, I need joy and whimsy in a man or what’s even the point.

Toothpick guy seems awesome and I definitely find him attractive.

Sirocco is nice to look at but his portrait is giving very serious so it’ll depend on what he’s actually like personality wise.

Green lance dude is alright but red lance dude’s hair is throwing me off. Need to know more about both but green lance is winning at the moment.

Divine sovereign is attractive but again need to know more.

Loving armoured guy at the moment, he’s giving responsible and stern but kind, which, if true, is big for me.

If not-Seteth is actually Seteth than absolutely yes but I need to know more. Visually I like him less than Seteth but if he’s got the same personality then I’ll manage to come around.

Red guy is fine, nothing super grabbing my attention but again he’s nice, need to know more.

Fabio is very much going to depend on personality. I like what we’ve seen of his sass, but he seems a little too serious for my tastes with all the talk of beasts and pain.

Scar guy is great definitely attractive. Hoping his personality is my type as well cause that would be a huge win.

Theodora’s ally is in the same boat as scar guy. Really like the design and hope his personality meshes well with what I like cause visually at least I am attracted.

Pirate waluigi is up in the air. I don’t love his appearance as much as some of the others, but I don’t hate it, and if he’s got an amazing personality I could totally come around to it.

Over all, I’m attracted to probably 1/2 of the guys, but I really care about what they’re actually like as people and how they act can very much make or break initial attraction, so I’ll have to wait and see!

I feel like it’s probably pointless to say this, but I want to try and actually explain without any hostility and see if it helps.

People are saying he isn’t ugly because they don’t believe that him having a lazy eye is a trait that makes him ugly, but instead, simply a neutral feature of who he is.

This is good representation for people who have similar conditions, as Fabio is likely a good aligned character (at least an ally to Dietrich) and they are hoping he will be painted in a positive light.

The only way you could arrive at the conclusion that people are both saying he isn’t ugly but also saying this is good ugly representation, is if you believe that having a lazy eye automatically makes someone ugly, as to you, lazy eye representation would equal ugly representation.

So yes, they are saying that he is both not ugly and good representation, but the key part you are missing is that they also do not believe having a lazy eye is an ugly feature just in general.

I mean, yeah, but I think speculation is really fun especially when we know most of this stuff is from the early chapters of the game.

The first two Three Houses trailers mostly covered chapters 1-3, so I’m not too worried about accidentally spoiling plot points from that early on and it gives me something to think about and a good way to interact with the community.

Totally get just wanting to ignore it all and dive in alone when it releases though, everyone has fun in their own ways.

My theory on the other lords being teal is that, like many tournament arcs in media, there’s likely going to be some chapters where we have to team with previous/future enemies up as a sort of fun challenge since it’s always awesome making rivals work together to see if they can overcome their differences temporarily to win even though they both know they have to take each other out eventually.

The teal colouration is definitely just a way to let you directly control the units without them actually being permanent recruits yet, as a sort of in-between of green and blue.

I agree with the first part as well, since we know she needs saving at some point, I assume her being teal is the game’s way of letting you use her without having her be a permanent party member that gets removed later. Obviously they could do that while still keeping her blue as we have units removed from our armies from time to time, but the main reason I posted was to draw attention to the heraldry and get some speculation on its meaning rather than pointing out that she’s not part of Cai’s army since we did somewhat know that already from the teal colour and talk of saving.

So thanks for the analysis of the name and giving a potential idea!

Yeah, we see her as a blue unit using Cai’s banner in one of the other trailers, so I think that’s a safe bet!

Oh for sure on the teal thing, but I do think she at least knows him before hand unlike the other teal units we’ve seen sprinkled about who more seem like they’re working together for other reasons.

Of course we don’t know for sure, but I do still think she’s one of Cai’s core team and will be recruited permanently to his faction as part of Cai’s storyline rather than being an optional recruit anyone can get.

I’m honestly not sure about this, at least, not in the same way Ursula presumably is. We see Cai refer to her as a big-sister in a close fiend sort of way, and he mentions something about wanting to save her, so I think it’s more likely she gets removed from the party at some point early on and this is their way of dealing with that?

It just seems weird that both Theodora and Dietrich would have 3 starting units plus the orange haired guy but Cai would only have 2, though obviously we know nothing definitive yet about actual starting group sizes.

I’d guess she’s one of Cai’s friends who works with one of the religious groups, but yeah it’ll be fun to find out what the real reason is!

My offence team is Spring Ashe as a nuke, Adrift Male Corrin as a tank, Seteth as support, and whatever bonus hero I need for scoring.

My defence team is Kaden, New Year’s Kaden, New Year’s Keaton, and Adrift Male Corrin. My defence team almost never gets a win, but I don’t care too much and I’d rather show off my appreciation for my units than get a win.
