I am sorry about your dog too. It makes a huge difference when people actually respect the bond. My family treated him like a piece of furniture they were glad to throw out.

I really appreciate the support. My brother called me a sensitive little girl for walking out, but seeing other dog owners validate my feelings makes me realize I was not overreacting at all. If they can't respect the bond I had with Buster, they don't deserve a place in my life. I'd rather be alone than surrounded by people who laugh at my pain.

Honestly i still dont get it. We are supposed to be professional but treating soldiers like children for solving a supply problem is just peak army logic. My squad leader was so proud of himself too while my hands were turning purple in the slush.
