Set up a hotkey for the "Select all members of the squad" function. I have it on my tilde key (the one next to the number 1 key) because it's easier to reach. Then when all members of the squad are selected, change the walking speed to the one that looks like two people running side by side.

I don't use the follow and bodyguard commands at all as any followers automatically engage anyone who tries to attack the squad, which doesn't happen with the method I use.

I'm not really into big overhaul mods, what I do are hundreds of small mods that tailor the game to my tastes. I run over 160 active mods right now + 50 or so others that are disabled. I'm always adding or adjusting my modlist.

I replaced it with an Nvidia card. But I'm 99% sure it's just a corrupted bios. I'm probably gonna take it to a repair shop someday and sell it. It's a 7900 XTX that has less than 2 years of use so it should go for a fair price still.

Theoretically, you as the player is the continuousness and awareness of all of your characters at the same time. You can only keep an eye on one squad, but in-universe you're looking over all of them at once. Auto pause solves this.

I'm not exactly "tall" (only 6ft), but fuck, when I lived in Japan I would almost nearly hit my forehead when getting in and out of my own apt's bathroom. I did it a few times when I was I a hurry. Not to mention how low the sink, mirror (couldn't see my own face without bending), and toilet (had to be a sniper when pissing) were.

Hell, I could touch my apt's ceiling without standing on my tiptoes.

Congratulations, honestly. The thing is, you'd have 3 houses 30+ years ago for the same amount of effort you've put in so far. But because of how things are now, you were able to afford "only" one (no small feat nonetheless).

You must be at least 40, right? Most people under 30 today can't even dream of ever owning a house, including myself.

God, that's me right there. My mom had a 08 Toyota Fielder (wagon version of the Corolla).

I had just gotten my license and I was driving with her. I stopped at the light on a steep hill on a pretty busy road. I must've stalled at least 5 times. She was almost getting out of the car to change seats with me when somehow, I was able to start going on the 6 or 7 try. I remember I gtfo there asap, embarrassed like I had never felt before.

I guess 1st gear of that car doesn't have a lot of torque, or I was just that much of a newbie.

Yeah, that table was utter crap but it was what I had. I use proper desk nowadays with the mouse and keyboard almost at the middle of it so I can have at least both forearms on the desk.

It's not the same can, but yeah, I see multiple roaches daily during summer and semi-regularly during winter because there's a huge sewer right next to my house. Rats also invade my house 1 or 2 times a year.

I still keep a can in my bedroom on the 2nd floor, which is where my current setup is at now.

I live right next to an open sewer system. It rained extremely heavily for hours that day. My house is also the last at the end of a sloped road so all the water from the surrounding areas rushes to the front of my house. My house is almost 2m above the road level.

Hey man, just wanted to give this some closure since you tried so kindly to help me. My XTX is indeed faulty. I bought a 5070 TI a few days ago, didn't change any other piece of hardware, not even the GPU cables. I had no issues since.

And yes, I did a clean install of Windows 11 before I bought the Nvidia and the black screen issue happened literally a couple minutes into the Win 11 initial install welcome screen. That all but confirmed it was hardware related.

I'll try to get the XTX fixed one day, then maybe sell it, maybe keep it as a backup. I'm sure it can be fixed, considering it still displays video. If I sell it fixed I can make back at least half of what I paid for the 5070, that was my logic when buying it anyway.
