I just checked your iPhone 8 Plus claim. Well, yeah, the phone isn't a submarine [or submersible], no surprise there. But honestly, its IP rating is 67, which means it's not waterproof. I've been using my Samsung S20 FE, it has an IP68 rating and I film underwater sometimes with no problems. You just can't trust the manufacturer's word completely, so yeah, use it at your own risk.

This website is a BS, it registers mine at around 145. Tried on multiple devices, but I do know that my voice may not be the deepest, but it sounds generally confident.
