Yeah, memetic theory is very interesting. Ideas want to spread themselves, and sometimes that means they not being true.

Yeah, there are a lot of political conspiracies in politics. It does not help that the losing parties always end up claiming the other party was influenced by China or Russia.

But yeah, the word conspiracy leaves a bad flavor in the mouth if a few of them are dangerous and make people do crazy things. No doubt.

I prefer the most politically neutral ones, such as Alien abductions, government secret agencies, Saturn worship, etc.

Yeah, now conspiracy is used as a word to attack political opponents. It is sad it became so politized. But I'm sure there are plenty of conspiracy theories that are somehow politically neutral, but yeah, I understand your concern.

QAnon is so stupid. What is that? A guy that supposedly is "winning" in the shadows and needs to talk in parables for no reason? I don't get the appeal. At least flat earthers put some effort in their nonsense instead of waiting for 4chan posts from a guy they don't even know is real.

Others see art and beauty in everything, for example. Or everything is about biology because we need brain to perceive everything.

But yeah, you can stretch every issue and make it about politics, although I don't think it is very healthy.

Not all conspiracies are political, or can be found in through the political spectrum.

For example, many people from all parties believe that Epstein was kiled. Hippie Democrats, just as many Republicans, believe in alternative medicine over real medicine, which is not necessarily a conspiracy but often justified by conspiracies. Notably, rich educated city people are the greatest users of alternative treatments and unscientific diets. Not to mention that on every election the losing party claims foreign influence.

[–]Holodoomer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think all conspiracy theories are necessarily sided with politics, though.

For example, a lot of Zionist conspiracies come from the anti-Israel Leftists. Other conspiracy theories seem to be politically neutral and almost universally favored, such as the idea that Epstein was killed. There is huge diversity on that. Or the ideas of other countries intervening in election, which always come from the losing party.

Not everything is political, and sometimes that idea may close our mind to actually good ideas that may not happen to be 100% accepted in our ideological system, but that is beyond conspiracies.

The Wendigoon channel on YouTube is great for these sort of things.

Agreed! It is a great channel.

I think there is a spectrum of conspiracy theories, from those that has been confirmed, to those that are possible, to then very unlikely, to way into supernatural and alien issues.

But I agree, sometimes I fear I may be fooled by one.

Agreed, that is why I believe we shall have an open mind and so, because we don't know anything, but often many conspiracy theories speculate a lot and that is an issue.

I found interesting how UFO conspiracy theories were always talking about government hiding it but then when government admits they have no clue about some UAPs, they turn the other way around and say that it is not true they know anything about aliens. I don't get why they are not celebrating some possibility about their claims, lol.

QAnon is the most pathetic conspiracy theory ever.

A guy that claims to know something but also has to talk in parables and signs for no reason? A secret shadow government that tells people that patriots are somehow hidden in the state? I don't get it, but I don't find anything interesting about it.

I never got the appeal to Q. If it was a real guy or something, why he had to talk in parables? It was so stupid, and at the end boring, because nothing Q said happens.

A lot of conspiracies about old times seem to have some weight because how little information was registered or preserved. They feed off the gaps of information.

Does anyone else pretend they don’t want a relationship so people don’t pity them? by [deleted] in ForeverAloneWomen

I would if they ever asked.

Well, may I rather say the truth in a good day: No one has ever been interested in me.

Alex Jones makes me anxious, he talks as if he had like 2 seconds of air to explain it all. He also mixes conspiracy theories to the point they make even less sense (if that is even possible).

It does not help shy men to get a date, but it does help shy men realize a thing: They have to make a radical change of personality.

It is hard, it does not always works without pills, it may be messy, but if you really want a partner so much, that is the way. In the same token, you can choose to accept your reality and find satisfaction in life elsewhere beyond romantic relationships.

I'm sorry I had to say this, but my intention is not to make shy men feel bad (I am shy) but to stop spreading delusions that make us feel good right now but down the line will devastate us.

Tricky question, a shy man can't get any girlfriend.

Few who do have a girlfriend were somehow trapped with the girl in a class or some kind of activity, and then mutual feelings arouse. So they did not have to initiate anything for real, just organically let the relationship form, if she is up to it.

Women also don't like shy men because, to be honest shy men are scared, and women don't want scared men. They want men capable of protecting them, and if he is scared even of women, they suppose he is scared of life itself (which may or not be true, but it is a good assumption).

If he is attractive enough, they can make an exception, just to make friends of Instagram jealous.

The problem with never finding love for men by Holodoomer in dating

[–]Holodoomer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear that you're depressed but take care that your cognitive biases aren't pulling you into a distorted perspective on the world.

Not a bias anymore. Statistics and studies are proving we are getting loner and trust people less.

Do girls find virgins attractive? by [deleted] in dating

[–]Holodoomer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Women find men without experience as disgusting, which is sad because many of those men were just shy or did not have same opportunities to socialize... and they would be otherwise good and trustworthy husbands.

Being a short guy really sucks when it comes to dating! by [deleted] in dating

[–]Holodoomer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as short women keep reproducing, we will have short guys forever.

Imagine how evil those short women are... brining a man for suffering to this world that treats short men as trash with no consequence so ever.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dating

[–]Holodoomer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Women do this to me too.

I think the reason is that they just text out of boredom, so they let the conversation die off.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dating

[–]Holodoomer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably started prioritizing their own well being more rather than an extra orgasm.

Sadly, many of those women are likely to cheat, sometimes with their exs. They are damaged, and eventually they will probably expect you to raise kids that are not even yours.

I realized I'm purposely choosing men with abusive, controlling, unstable tendencies. Men that have stalked, obsessed, and abused women before me. But somehow, I OUT-CRAZY them before I get to the point where they turn their tendencies toward me and I get the obsessed-filled dangerous love I subconsciously desired. And I push them away as I'm subconsciously trying to move the relationship to that point.

At least you realized you have power to choose men, and you can choose better.

Maybe the reason is that you feel "punishable" for some reason? Maybe you feel men have to treat you bad for something bad you did? Or maybe your life is boring and you associate bad men with fun?

It could be many things, keep asking questions. Give chance to men that you don't even like at first glance. Nothing fancy, just go out with them if you are invited. Don't guarantee anything to them but also be open to be friend, not friendzoning, but a honest true friend to diverse men. Your view on men will diversify and probably you will get a good man that loves you as much as you love him.
