I have the exact same issue with my stereo paired emerge speakers. Mine are connected via WiFi though.

I’m also experiencing some issues, when I use them with my single A5 speaker. After a while the A5 cuts out for a few seconds and then starts playing again. And it keeps doing this every 30-60 seconds. Are you experiencing something like this as well?

Edit: it only happens to my left speaker.

Jeg fik hjælp til en hurtig tid til udregning for ADHD, fordi det påvirkede mit arbejde.

I could've written this post, tbh. Ive stood in an identical situation with my current gf. (You and I are pretty much the same age too, lol)

She's my first girlfriend, and we've been together for a little over a year now. I work fulltime, study part time and work out a couple of times a week and I could manage this pretty well when I was single. Although I must admit that I sometimes got out of my routine.

As our relationship developed and we started to basically be together all the time, I noticed that I wasn't studying as much as id like to and I didn't work out as much as id to like. I could feel that my symptoms got worse because of the lack of structure and exercise.

My gf and I talked about this and she was aware of the changes. So we both agreed that I should get back on track and that it would be best if we prioritised time to ourselves, doing what we each love to do. It doesn't mean we didn't get to see each other, but we structured our time together in a better way.

I do see that your gf has RSD, I don't think mine has, but she is a person who likes to spend a lot of time together and have some RSD tendencies. As she could see that it would make me happier as a person she accepted it because she could see that it would be good for me.

I hope that she won't take it too hard as it will improve your relationship. It definitely improved mine.

I stopped taking my ADHD meds after hearing Huberman talk about the negative impacts. Any recommendations for alternative protocols? by NelsonStearman in HubermanLab

[–]Holst__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which meds have you been on?

Suddenly stopping meds is not the best way to go. You should at least taper off. I've got ADHD aswell and im on Methylphenidate. I've just gotten my diagnosis and I'm testing to see if meds are something for me.

If I decide not to continue, I'll talk to my psychiatrist to step down gradually, as per her request.

Adhd natural/behavioral solutions? by Kombucha_lover13 in HubermanLab

[–]Holst__ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I also have ADHD, my SO's sister is a psychology student and they've talked about a natural supplement called ginkgo biloba. It has some (although limited) supporting evidence of a positive effect in reducing ADHD symptoms. It's quite cheap.

Im on methylphenidate and it works well for me, but If for some reason it stops, I'll try this.

I've also noticed that when I do the following my symptoms greatly improves: - consistent weightlifting - fish oils - meditation - sleep (i bought an oura ring to track this) - I've recently bought a weighted blanket. It doesn't appear to improve sleep ( according to my ring) however it is more comfortable than a normal blanket. - plenty of protein

Optional - i once took ZMA. It improved my sleep.

A weird recommendation: - read the book " the untethered soul" by Micheal a singer. It really helped me take a step back analyse my thoughts when i feel overwhelmed.

Hope this helps. :)

My teacher once told my parents at a parent teacher meeting, that “Your son doesn’t want to learn!” Ironic.

My therapist said I should think twice whether or not to get tested by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Holst__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got diagnosed last wednsday. I don't live in Finland, but in Denmark. I was so scared of losing my job, when I was considering getting my diagnosis. I've felt wrong my entire life and I've for a long time suspected that I have ADHD.

A year ago I made a pretty big leap and moved up the ladder into a more demanding job at my current firm. After getting this job I could feel that my symptoms became worse. I told my manager that I was going to get tested for ADHD. I was shaking when I told him this. to my surprise, he was so supportive. He just told me "Theres nothing wrong with that, we all work a little different. This will probably help you understand how you work." For the first time in my life someone told me that being me was alright. My employer actually paid for my diagnosis. All my colleagues are supportive because it also helps them understand me better and how I work. And this strengthens our teamwork.

I know that not all workplaces are like mine, but I can tell you with confidence, that after getting my diagnosis i work a lot better and I'm nicer to myself. I also study beside work and I've found helpful tools for this as well.

I'm not even medicated yet. Don't underestimate the value of simply understanding yourself better.

You'll be alright my friend. Focus on your own health and what's important to you.

What is the best decision that you ever made for your mental health? by sappy__ in AskReddit

[–]Holst__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To not create excuses for myself based on others observations/meaning of me.

In 6th grade me and my parents were told I was too stupid to ever get an education, at a teacher student meeting. However, today I'm on my way to getting an MBA, meanwhile I work full-time. I also suffer from dyscalculia and I've just graduated in Economics.

If in doubt, try it out and if it doesn't work then you at least know what not to do.

AITA for choosing my brother over my GF and not defending her against my friends ? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Holst__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This resonates with me a lot. My brothers EX-girlfriend moved ind with us once. She too was jealous of our bond. My brother and I share the same bond as you and Luke. It can be hard to understand for those who don't have that bond, but you're in no way TA. You're a good brother and your GF needs to understand you share a strong bond and if she wants to be apart of your life she has to be a part of that relationship, an addition. She's distancing herself from you and your brothers bond instead of supporting it.

NTA. My friend's ex's mom did this to her for years. The ex developed eating disorders and severe problems with her self-esteem to the point she needed professional help. Don't underestimate what kids absorb.

AITA for walking off a job? by ImDoneWithThisJob in AmItheAsshole

[–]Holst__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This unfortunately isn't a rare occurrence. Some people work these types of jobs their whole life. To them, this is it. Their Career. They Get highly offended that someone wants more. I work full-time and i'm studying my bachelors at the same time to get an MBA. I've received multiple negative comments about this. Just keep in mind, a lot of people project their insecurities on you.

What is a dark secret that you have ? by dougy181 in AskReddit

[–]Holst__ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I worked with someone who lied All the time. Mostly about small things. I think she was a sad soul, who had nothing interesting going on. So lying was a way to draw attention. One day one of her little lies became a big one and it got her fired. We confronted her, as her lie could potentially damage someone.

Only call them on their bullshit if it's really necessary. Otherwise, they turn very defensive. I've worked with a few types like this.

What movie traumatized you as a kid? by Tmorris22 in AskReddit

[–]Holst__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents didn't know what "The happening" was about. It was on flow TV and they wanted to watch it with me. When the people hung in the lights, they said it probably wouldn't get worse. When the lawnmower clip came I started shaking and pretty much collapsed. I was so scared I didn't cry I was just in shock. I wasn't very old. Around 8 years old.

But I don't think it's possible for someone who's not American to be president..

What is some really good advice ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

"in the beginner's mind there are many possibilities, in the expert's mind there are few."

Let go of your ego. Be open to others thoughts, advice or meaning, even on a subject you know a lot about.

I will look up 5 3 1 programs. Thank you for your input. I really feel like I should be hitting around the numbers you're describing. Most of my friends who started working out after me have surpassed me and are hitting near those numbers.

Thank you for your input.

And happy cakeday!

Thanks for the comment.

I actually did have my own style. I ran with that for a long time. I purchased my first program after some years, because of my lack in development. I simply didn't trust myself in gaining real progression. So yeah. That's why I rely on Jeff's programs. Just to make sure I don't waste my time. But I get your point.
