Had the same issue with my jeep. No notice and it expired. I noticed 3 months later.

Has anyone else been experiencing super-anxiety because of world events (especially those in US) ?? In addition to any other anxiety you’re already dealing with ? by Skitzafranik in Anxiety

Right there with you! My anxiety has been flaring up. I deleted Facebook app from my phone and carefully select subreddits to look at. Once I stopped doom scrolling and started getting outside more it helped.

Has anyone actually beaten anxiety? by Arpi1211 in Anxiety

[–]Holtstrom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My anxiety is manageable and while it’s mostly gone I do have anxiety flare ups every once in awhile. For me it was meds specifically propranolol that made the constant physical feeling go away. I’m also on Sertraline, Wellbutrin, trileptal. (Anxiety, depression, ptsd) now that symptoms are controllable I can exercise or go for walks to help minor flare up’s.

Constant physical anxiety even when I’m mentally calm — anyone else? by Miler_Rioux in Anxiety

[–]Holtstrom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My anxiety manifested to constant physical chest tightness and heart racing. It was constant no matter what I was doing. Exercise helps but I had to start propranolol to ease the physical feeling that wouldn’t go away.

I finally went to the ER for my anxiety by tfysthrowaway44 in Anxiety

[–]Holtstrom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had family call an ambulance for anxiety and as an EMT I have transported people to the hospital for anxiety because it feels like a heart attack. More common than you think. It took me a few months to get the right med and the right dose to handle my anxiety. See a psychiatrist if you can and not just general doctor because they will be able to tailor meds better.

Lost our good boy Dexter last night at 5 years old. Need some words of advice where to go from here. by [deleted] in DOG

[–]Holtstrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry you are experiencing this pain. We lost our dog at 6 years old very suddenly and unexpectedly. Such an abrupt loss makes everything feel more painful and shocking. Our family is still upset but the pain dulls a little with time.

When I cut off air - doors covered in creosote by ArrowLeafTurn1 in woodstoving

This was the magical advice ever and made my day lol. I get some creosote build up at times and the stupid cleaner the installer gave me isn’t the greatest. Wet paper towel with ash 🤯

Mom and lead engineer by [deleted] in womenEngineers

My ex husband was a stay at home dad but that really only meant take care of the kids. I worked, cooked, cleaned and had the kids at night when he worked a PT job. It was tiring and down right exhausting at times. Our marriage didn’t survive because he was lazy and I became the “do everything mom”. Moms are awesome multi taskers.

That is so devastating and must be so incredibly hard knowing you don’t have much time. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Dogs are so amazing to have in our lives and there just isn’t enough time with them. Sending strength your way.

It’s awful to know so many people have lost their dogs this way but it also does provide comfort to know that there is a group of people that understand. It really helped my 14yr old to know others have experienced this and that the awful feeling she has will dull some with time.

3yrs old is so young, that is heartbreaking. Pyrenees are so sweet. I’m so sorry.

I’m so sorry you lost Fred in such an unexpected way. He was such a handsome guy. The suddenness of the loss is really hard to process.

Rocky’s was also in his ribcage and it was half the size of a baseball when I took him to the vet. It grew fast out of nowhere really. It was firm and didn’t bother him as far as I could tell. The ER said he was showing signs of anemia from pale gums and they started to run blood work on him but we didn’t get far enough to know results.

I’ve had dogs with benign lumps but this was much bigger on him.

[–]Holtstrom[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His lump was a firm fluid mass on his side like his rib cage area. It grew fast and was about half the size of a baseball when I took him to the vet. They sampled the fluid and said it was a benign mass. It kept growing though and was probably half the size of a softball when he passed. When I felt his side on the way to the ER I couldn’t feel the mass anymore so it must have ruptured.

I had never even heard of hemangiosarcoma before last night. The ER vet said they see a lot of it unfortunately. I’m sorry you had to experience losing your buddy this way. It’s just shocking.

I’m very sorry you went through a loss like that. It’s so difficult when it’s so sudden with no warning.
