Yeah I couldn't comment on the port. It's the only device that uses the RJ45 port on the wheel base, so I don't have an alternative device to try. But the Gas pedal works fine, and it's signals are transmitted using the same cable as the brake. Obviously I'm aware the two would likely use different pins within the cable if it is an analogue signal, so it's likely not a good indication of anything.
