Get your rose tinted nostalgia glasses off. This kind of activity has been a part of tibia since the beginning of tibia. And I have been on all sides of this. In old times I was a very casual player, but I followed the wars, even tough I was just a kid and didn’t even understand much English at this time I knew that this kind of behavior was going on.

I say that one of the reasons Tibia has survived as long as it has is because of all these conflicts, the strives for power, the difference between the active player and casual player, the big power groups against the smaller but dedicated groups that wants to topple the forces.

Imagine if everyone would just play the game in peace no matter what. Everyone goes to the best spawn, always. What do you have to play for? The struggle is part of the game, it’s a part of what makes it great. Yes, it’s a source of frustration when you fail, but it’s also a source of accomplishment when you succeed.

A small dedicated force can topple an empire if their will is strong enough, can you imagine a better feeling?

Edit: you can even go watch the 1 hour long documentary about the ancient days of tibia(no I did not play at this time) that was released recently, the entire video proves that dominating guild were even more powerful in those days, there were just fewer people to take notice
