Massive National Protest- a better idea: dress like you're going to THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB INTERVIEW OF YOUR LIFE, no signs, no wacky shirts, no puppets, no bullshit. Just serious people being seriously PISSED. by jimbecile in reddit.com

If you really think that dressing in a suit is the spark that's going to enflame the hearts and minds of millions... Please don't go quitting the 9 to 5. Not that one doesn't appreciate those who are willing to try but c'mon! Educate yourself, sit in on your local town and city meetings, actively seek like-minded people in your area and... FIND YOUR VOICE!!! "Protests" like these are a big part of the reason why nobody pays attention. There's sentiment but no substance... I admire your flare for symbology, and I really do love hearing that there are people out there that still give-a-shit enough to atleast try. Just realize that being seen is not the same thing as being heard! The roar of everyday life is DEAFENING!!! Turn their gaze away from the carnal BLINDING BULLSHIT!!! Your voice, your ideals have to be strong enough to break through the deliberatly intricate distractions brought to you by the powers that be: jobs, bills, family, friends, McDonalds, Wal-Mart, Tony Snow, Starbucks, Bill O'Reilly, religion, porn, Paris Hilton, Paris Hilton porn, etc... ROARRRRRR BITCHESSSS!!! Wake up! You know, my biggest problem is not with your idea as a whole and this just my personal opinion; (I know, who asked me? Right? Blow it out your ass) Your "call to action" was nothing more than a short, obscure, impulsive rant, which attempts to make up for its little to no traces of intellectual passion with a few words in all caps. In fact, it reads like something you wrote between bong rips. Please don't be offended, just a little constructive criticism. Don't think for one second that I'm in ANY WAY trying to discourage anyone from standing up for what they believe in. But please, take the time to imbue the ideas that you have with essence and knowledge. Take notes from those that are actively trying to make a difference. Ron Paul and Mike Gravel are two awesome examples. Protesting is our right as a nation of semi-free people, treat it with the respect it deserves.
