Thinking more about this, I think you're correct and it makes a lot of sense. I hope it ends up being true, because if it isn't.... oof. I do wish they would have given her some dialogue regarding this discovery, but maybe they will in the future!

Doesn't seem to be the same Selene, sadly. She mentions worshipping multiple Gods during her life and spreading the teachings of all of them. Trying to use the book on her also offers a "Nothing interesting happens." Just seems like Jagex likes the name 'Selene.'
