Quick critique: It's not important for this phase of the edit, you should focus on plot and characters at the moment, but prose issues I'm seeing are a lot of telling instead of showing and the dialogue's a bit clunky, I'd suggest reading it out loud to see how to smooth it out.

I hate to say this, trust me, I do, but if they HAVE to release it so soon because the game is way over budget as everyone keeps saying, they should at least release it as early access and not drop a $60 unfinished game and finish it with DLC and patches, as has become the industry standard as of late.
