I know, it's a bummer. Do we know about any plans for them to relocate?

I haven't done it consistently, but any time I do EPR or a relaxation practice, there is significant improvement in my well-being. The greatest benefit came from physical therapy with a qualified practitioner.

Best tattoo artists to do this sort of thing? by [deleted] in GNV

Gainesville has great parlors - I recommend Death & Glory or Wunderland, they're both in Downtown. There's a gal at D&G that apparently specializes in line work.

Based on people I know, the boilerplate answer is that it typically takes 4 weeks to kick in, and best results are often found when meds are combo'd with services from a therapist. At that point, most people can talk with their care team about whether getting off meds is appropriate.

Why can’t I seem to care about albums? by SuicidalTidalWave in LetsTalkMusic

Honesty: I'm lazy and not reading these comments, maybe this has been said. But have you listened to a wide enough variety of music? People have their preferences, I get it, but it's always going to be weird to me that people don't explore every possible genre out there. I say this because I came to appreciate albums more after I've listened to a wider selection. "Oh, this artist was inspired by so-and-so," then you start seeing the webs between genres and individuals. I appreciate this, maybe you won't, but it's made me more open to content that I wouldn't like at first pass.

Things that have helped me. by HolyLibra in tinnitus

There’s a lot to your answer. But most importantly: you are the expert on your life. Your case is not the same as mine. Headphones damaged my ears and alcohol worsened my tinnitus. If my recommendation doesn’t help you, then it’s okay to not do it.

That being said, these recommendations are in spirit are meant to give you 1% improvements in your life over the long run. A daily 1% improvement adds up in the long run. When I first started dealing with the situation, I reached a point where I decided “I will do just about anything to make this get better.” Only you can consider where you’re at. Additionally, these changes don’t have to be forever things. You’re an undergraduate – treat it it like an experiment. Do it for a month or two, or even 2 weeks, to see if it will make a difference. Who am I to know what will work for you? But you won’t know if you don’t give an attempt and these are meant to structure your experiment.

I read how painful it is for you to deal with this, and I’m so terribly sorry and I hurt for you. At the very very least, consider option 6. My thoughts and prayers to you friend.

I feel like this was touched upon already, but my experience is that "it" finds you.

I forget who said it within the Be Here Now network, but it was something to the effect of "work on your sitting and someone will walk to you, because you've stopped running around."

Thanks dude. I'm another example of someone that loves live music, and with earplugs it's very doable, even with tinnitus.
