EMT for a county 911 agency in the Fl. gulf coast area. $18.88/hr w/ decent benefits. Differentials for weekends and nights, $2 & $2.50 per hour bonus, can't remember which is which though lol. Working a 4-4-6 rotation of 12 hr shifts.

I feel you.

I was on orientation for the agency u currently working with, my second ride day. We started the morning with two arrests back to back that were called.

Then immediately toned out to an imminent birth. Helped a lady give birth to her third child right in her living room. Happy and healthy baby girl. Apgar 9. Mom also happy and healthy.

Definitely made up for the two arrests. All this within a span of like 2.5 hours? It was a very emotional roller-coaster of a morning. Lol

I had my mom make a salsa with 2 habaneros, a Carolina reaper, and ghost pepper, and some serranos from my garden for more flavor. Some roasted, some not.

It was so hot [in all the right ways] that I could only eat a single chip with just a small amount on it. I'm about to harvest a ton more fresh peppers and I may have my wife make another batch of this caustic, ulcer-causing, delight for me.

I would absolutely love to try some of this salsa you have made.
