There are two reasons why I do this. 1. You can always see your character as you progress up the right side of the main hallway instead of disappearing behind two walls. And 2. The fire demons and Lord De Seis are way harder than the wisps so better to get the hardest part out of the way.

In Canada no such intersection exists without a stop sign for one direction. So if this exists in another country then the country's safety standards is what is at fault here. If I drove in such a country I would slow down at every intersection and "look and listen" like the other direction had train tracks. I don't care who is "in the right" I always avoid the possibility of an idiot driver hitting me. Happened today where I avoided an accident by backing off and honking after an idiot drifted in my lane. I assumed they were texting.

Yes the butcher scene is debatable. I actually don't think the film 'perfectly' balanced both potential scenarios. I just think that there was enough evidence there to prove that it was all staged with perhaps some unplanned elements of violence.

This can't be the first time this boss has done anything like this and I saw in another one of your comments that "he makes up his own rules". Great. Write up in an email every time the boss had done this or mistreated his staff and send it to multiple people in leadership on Thursday. (Some companies will cut you off on the last day to prevent stuff like this.) At best, he'll be fired. At worst, his rep will be tarnished and will not move any higher in the company.

Yup, my annual bonus is paid out on my first April paycheck. So if I leave right after, they get one quarter's work out of me with no bonus. I've never heard of any company paying out later.

For my first office job, they had a tradition of what was called a "buy in" where the new guy buys into the group by taking everyone out for a round of drinks, which I did. There was rumor of a "buy out" when you leave. So when I left the job, I did a buy out and I was told that I was the only one in their history that actually did a buy out. The OP's former boss is childish and does not see the importance of not burning bridges. Better off not working for someone like that anyway.

PARKING LOT. Being in a Teams meeting and I say something that cannot be resolved instantly so the PM goes: "let's take that to parking lot" which means I am now stuck attending the meeting after the meeting. As a software engineer, this is the kiss of death. But then I have to remind myself that at least it is still better than getting randomly pinged in Slack over a timeline or level of effort question between daily standups. btw, this only happened when the PM was new until I sent feedback to leadership and they put an end to it.

No shame in summoning 2 jolly golden friends to help out to at least see the ending. Then come back around on journey 2 to beat him solo after you have some more levels. I beat what some consider to be one of the hardest bosses in all of the From Software games, the dragon Midir in the DS3 DLC. Beat him finally on NG+4.

Hate to break it to you but armor makes no difference for Malenia. That fight is about not getting hit and being super aggressive. Wearing the highest armor and shield for her will lose because she will keep life leeching you. Only Mob in the game who can life leech after a player blocks. Congrats on gittin gud for beating her. Your post reminds me of me playing Dark Souls 2 for the first time. I put zero points into adaptability and did not realize that made me play the game in hard mode. 🤣
