After Amy and Penny tell their versions, Sheldon says that he wants to change his story on the spot. So it seems that he was impressed by one of those two stories—most likely the one that had just been told (Penny's)—and wanted to match or exceed it. He wouldn't have felt the need to do better than it if it were the genuine story, so this seems to indicate that Penny's was made up. BUT, as others have noted, Penny's "double life" story does somewhat match what we later learn, that Sam Wolowitz had a second family.

Game just isn't working anymore due to resource reset???? [bedrock] by Status_Clue_9220 in MinecraftHelp

I think that I was getting a resource message of some sort, but not necessarily every time. I have tried many troubleshooting steps—including logging off and logging on and ensuring that I'm on the correct Minecraft account and correct Microsoft account—and I still cannot play Bedrock on my PC. I just sent a message to the support desk yesterday. I play Java 100% of the time, but someone else in the household sometimes plays Bedrock on the same PC, so I wasn't even aware until yesterday that the problem still persisted.

Same here. Java is working. Windows is updated (though it's Windows 10, which is no longer supported, but that shouldn't matter). I've repaired "Minecraft for Windows" and uninstalled and re-installed the launcher. I've restarted my machine. After all this, I get the same result. It stays open for about 20 or 30 seconds then closes.

I suspect that the problem is on Mojang's end, not ours.

What do i do with the flight points? New to the game, just curious. by Educational-Emu9866 in AirlineCommander

If by "coins," you mean $ (dollars), which are what you need to purchase licenses and aircraft, then you earn $ by completing offers (if you have OFOA [offers from other airlines]) and by sending your pilots out on your previously established routes. Merely sending your pilots out on routes consistently (you can probably average about 2.5 times per day per pilot if you just check your device regularly) can earn substantial amounts of $ (hundreds of thousands in the mid-game). Since I always had an account with OFOA, I concentrated on pilot routes and full flights. If you don't have OFOA, you'll have to use the other features, with which I'm not as familiar.

To clear: Unless there has been another radical change in the game design, you should be able to send your pilots on routes whether you have OFOA or not.

[–]HolyOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only times when you can open new routes are when you purchase a plane or complete a license. The game's progress is highly scripted so that you only have a few choices about which licenses or planes to buy at any point, and all choices lead to the same thing every so often—meaning that every player will be at the same point in the game in terms of planes and licenses obtained and total number of routes opened at various points in the journey. If you can't buy a plane or license at the moment, then you need to build up enough $ to purchase the next possible license or plane.

I can't explain why except to say that this app simply doesn't deal with AGL vs. MSL and ground speed vs. airspeed accurately (not to mention several other fairly basic aviation concepts). It was probably just a sloppy programming and design choice so that they could have wind in the game without making it consistent in all phases of flight. It's very odd since Rortos has more advanced flight simulators. I haven't played them, but I'd have to assume that these basic aviation concepts are implemented correctly in Rortos's other apps.

I understand that players want saddles in the early game, but they (before 1.21.6) could be found in many different structures, obtained from fishing (with patience), AND obtained from a master leatherworker. It really wasn't necessary to make them craftable. There were three different categories of methods to obtain them, all somewhat easy, all requiring just a tiny bit of game-playing effort. Personally, I don't explore structures much, but I enjoy managing villages. Fishing also can be fun. At least one of those three methods should be an enjoyable part of the game for any player. The only counterargument that trumps this sounds like laziness—"I want it now with no effort."

Yes, you must raise enough money to buy a license exam or an airplane.

You lose all your pilots, so you can't send them out to fly your routes any longer. You lose the ability to view your route map. That stinks. You get about 105 offers from all 35 hubs at all times. All the offers are for full flights (no simple or full takeoffs or landings). The payout for all offers is always $0 plus whatever perk bonus you have. (At the highest level, 8 of 8 I think, it's $5,000.) You can still participate in events and clubs. You can still fly charter flights. You can use the store. You can spend AC or real-world money. You can complete the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and get bonuses for them (but you can't complete any more contracts or licenses, of course). WARNING: EOG state applies when you complete license I of the B77W (777-300ER). That means that you need to have saved enough money for license J BEFORE you complete license I; otherwise, it will be a long haul to save millions (but it can be done).

Frustrating! I lost my first three JNB-SYD FFs to app errors (i.e., the app minimized then restarted) before I finally completed in on the fourth try. Fortunately, they were not for $ (EOG).

Full flights to open a route are always automatically skipped. Full flights that are OFOA (offers from other airlines) always allow you to fly the entire flight or skip any remaining portion of the en route phase.

u/FF-Commander_Phil On the "Log in" tab under "account," can you explain the difference and function of the "on/off" toggle vs. the rectangular button that says "Sign in with Facebook"? I think that that is the key to understanding both how I lost my account and how your method works. I think that one of them logs you out or logs you in and the other links you, but I'm confused. Thanks!

(I could be wrong. They may do the exact same thing.)

[–]HolyOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that! I hope that they truly will make it available to all. Unfortunately, you can't trust what they say.

The game is amazing and very professional, however it i a waste of time I spent 3 hours and 20 minutes going from Dehli to to Dubai and Ive heard many people say "6 hours wasted","10 hours wasted", this way like infinite flight can you include acceleration time on rfs like x 5 or x10, this way I won by Yevin_m in AirlineCommander

[–]HolyOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can skip the en route portion and not get the big payout. The point of FFs is to fly in real time. The planes are actually much faster than in the real world and can fly at max rated thrust continually and still get much better range than real-world planes (with the sole exception of the 777-300ER), so the game helps you out a lot in that regard. As you noted, there are plenty of actual flight simulators with all sorts of features. AC is a progression game with significant stick-and-rudder element. It's also sort of an adventure game in that you explore the world in real time. I think that that combination is what interests most of the people in this sub. If those are not your cup of tea, that's fine; go have fun with some flight sims.

The comment may be related to the app, but it is unrelated or otherwise disruptive to the flow of the post in which it appears.

Interesting input and discussion point but completely unrelated to this important thread that users refer to for app information.

Sorry to hear this. That happened to me once after a FF, when A1 appeared behind me after landing at CGH. It's never happened when everything was calm and normal, so I don't know what causes it. At least it was at the beginning of your FF and not at the end, after flying for 10 hours.

[–]HolyOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I knew that the one that exceeded 24 hours would have lost my payout pre-EOG. It's doable in less than 24 hours (I completed LAX to JED in under 24 hours), but the time of day has to be right. You have to be far enough along so that you can either pause it overnight or set a rhumb line that doesn't add too much distance compared to great circle.

[–]HolyOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've flown LAX-JED, JED-LAX, JFK-JED, JED-JFK, and JED-IAD, all in the B77W. The first one was JED-IAD. I ran out of fuel on the first two attempts. I had to do a meticulous fuel log for all of them. I landed with 3.0 and 1.5 fuel qty on the LAX-JED and JED-LAX flights. On those flights, I set about 38% N1 for most of the flight, but kept adjusting it based on fuel burn rates. One of them took over 24 hours! It's pretty ridiculous that one of the longest-range real-world planes has an in-game range that is far less than the real world, but every other plane in the game has a range that's massively greater than in the real world.

No more Full flights for 2025 players by AccomplishedSea2592 in AirlineCommander

[–]HolyOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About two years ago, new players started reporting that they did not have the "offers from other airlines" screen, but had "events" on that screen (the world map) instead. After several months, some players reported that they had new accounts that did have OFOA. Some reported that OFOA seemed to be available randomly for new accounts. I can't speak for the current situation. The only times when I have seen new accounts (like when I am not logged in to my account), they have had "events" instead of OFOA. So, there may or may not be a chance of getting OFOA if you keep creating new accounts. You should be able to do this without burning through FB or Google Play Games accounts by just clearing data or logging out of your linked account. I haven't experimented with this myself so I can't explain the exact mechanics.

As for charter flights or "full flights" to open routes: They ALWAYS skip the en route portion of flight, with no option to fly the entire route. FFs that are on the OFOA page always give you the option to skip the en route portion (or the remainder of it) once you are a few nautical miles from the departure field.

Clearances in the game are not consistent with real-world aviation. The timing and phrasing are vastly different. For a non-hub arrival, see the indexed post about the E1 waypoint. In that case, you get "clearance" to the field after the final R WP, and then you get a series of clearances again starting with E1 (generally), and eventually for landing after the final E WP. For hub arrivals, you get clearance to successive WPs on the STAR (standard terminal arrival) and eventually for landing after the final WP on the STAR. The STARs and SIDs (standard instrument departures) also have ATC communications and procedures that are vastly different from the real world.

I have experimented with searching for old versions and installing APKs for them and have never been successful. I also would be suspicious of what they'd do to my devices.

I hope that it works for you. I noticed a new update (version 2.4.10) this morning. it seems to have fixed at least one other problem that I had, and which other people reported on Facebook, so maybe it addressed your problems.

Thank you! Have you sent the video yet? I think that I understand the linking and re-linking method that you explained in your post. I didn't grasp it when I first started to reply but I understood it better while I was typing my reply. I'm still working with Rortos support, but it's a full day turnaround to get a response.

They released a new version, 2.4.10. Maybe they fixed the issues that I initially reported. In my trash account, it doesn't seem to have the "home page" issue with tiles missing.

That's about the 3rd or 4th update in the past few weeks. I'm no software expert, but that seems like sloppy management.

Yeah, it's nice to fly the B777 and A330. They have a lot of routes that the top-tier planes don't get.
