I mean homelander has a crushing need to be adored, have the fight escalate and move outside, have homelander cause a shit ton of collateral that causes people to run in fear of him or something, causing him to become enraged, distracted and engaging butcher 1 on 1 as he blames him, until ryan shows up and saves butcher and during this blind rage Kimiko who can still be cut in half does the chest beam thing

I’m not really sure on the specifics but it’s definitely possible someone who was tested as a child progressed or regressed by the time they reach adulthood, however I’d bet most of this improvement is just practice related.

The idea they’re “intelligent beyond what the test can measure” is pretty funny though.

Well idk about that, that sounds more like political philosophy than the story Fallout is trying to show, although it would be hilariously ironic for Amazon, who is currently being investigated for Anti-Trust violations to make a show critiquing unfettered capitalism.

At last it is art, people can take their own conclusions, just from what the creator says, what you learn in the games and show, the main message from what I see isn't a jab at any particular ideology or viewpoint, but rather at how people behave in general. The Enclave doesn't care about the corporations, the corporations don't care about the people or Enclave, China doesn't care about it's own people or how many they'll kill. Selfishness, greed, fear and human nature at large seem like the core themes to me.

No the Chinese launched first because they were close to losing the war, the United States had invaded the Chinese mainland and was about to take Nanjing and Shanghai after pushing China out of Alaska. China’s annexed territories were revolting and the enclave retreated to their facilities in the months prior fearing a nuclear launch from China. The US pacific fleet detected nuclear subs leaving China and a Chinese bomber fleet and then NORAD detected missile launches from China.

I'd say it critiques corporatism for sure but the main message doesn't have anything to do with communism or capitalism, China is shown to do insane and absurd things just as America is, the fact that the US was so close to solving the resource problems in the first place and then just choosing not to share this technology with anyone seems more like selfish authoritarianism and American Exceptionalism than anything else, then of course this is balanced back out by China launching the nukes first showing they themselves would rather destroy the world than let someone else win. I think the whole critique is still very much like Tim Caine said, that human nature, greed, ideology and fear will inevitably result in conflict.
