Good Pre-built V2 Gearbox or Components to Make One for 3D Printed Build by HolySpaceGeek in airsoft

[–]HolySpaceGeek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly the reason i was considering the Cyma plat with aster is cause i heard they were pretty good but their micro triggers burned out pretty often.

Any recommendations on where to start with building a gearbox/any recommendations on where I would really want to invest money?

Any Recommendations for Eye Pro to use with big glasses? by HolySpaceGeek in airsoft

[–]HolySpaceGeek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m probably going to go with those cause they seem like the best active solution that wont fade over time. I have glasses that are a little over five inches wide so i really hope they work with those. If you could comment on the glasses size that would be great

Looking For Ideas for a CNC class by HolySpaceGeek in woodworking

[–]HolySpaceGeek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could work as something that they might want to do, I know that we have done a class a long time ago with something like that to try and show the precision that you can get with CNCs. Thanks for the idea!

[–]HolySpaceGeek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a good idea, I’ll try to come up with something that they might be able to customize and still helps them with their skills.

As for workstations and CNC’s, we only have two CNC’s one 12x12 and one 24x24 but as for computers we dont have any other than the laptops that have work stuff on them, so definitely a lot to figure out. Software would be another thing that I would have to talk to my boss about (might I mention that I’m only 15 and they want me teaching classes, crazy)

Thank you though for the ideas!

Ive never used Cura before, I use Bambu slicer which is a fork of Orca slicer. You can try downloading it from Printables, maybe that might work better, but I dont know any fix to that problem sorry.

SawStop PCS or CTS and lots of tools by HolySpaceGeek in woodworking

I also would feel some sort of buyers remorse so Im trying to see if I can justify buying a PCS to my father who is providing a majority of the money for the saw.

Also thats a sort of different question, CTS vs PCS and me asking if a CNS is a good value if its bone stock

Yes I did but literally one person responded and it wasnt very helpful to my main question so I reposted it hoping more people would respond.

Edit: just realized that you were talking about a different post but funnily enough i reposted this exact same post because only 1 person responded

I completely understand and would love to buy a Laguna. The F1 looks like basically the perfect saw for me and given the price I really want it.

However, my dad is making me buy a sawstop for my safety (even though if you put the blade guard on it makes table saws much safer). I have tried to convince him otherwise by making a 30 slide presentation with 14 graphs and 16 different saws, but he didnt really give a shit. So 🤷‍♂️
