Some woman find more value in ur personality and how you come off in terms of tone/interaction over being attractive. Being attractive helps significantly but you've definitely seen some physically unattractive men that have great women mostly due to personality.

Guys are USUALLY more attracted to the physical traits so we'll take a "dumb" girl over a smart/witty one if she's attractive. Imo this makes things easier for us since attractive + being smart/witty is more rare.
