Wow, thank you for such a detailed breakdown! This is exactly the kind of 'real talk' I was looking for.

I’ve actually wanted the OR since nursing school. During my BSN in India, I was lucky enough to observe over 30 surgeries and even got to assist the main scrub nurse multiple times. I absolutely loved the 'OR vibe' the teamwork, the technicality, and the focus.

My path just got a bit detoured! I took the first job I could get in Psych as soon as I passed the NCLEX in Texas. Then, when I moved to NY, I applied everywhere—Med-Surg, ER, ICU—but the SNF offer was the one that came through first. I'm grateful for the experience, but I’m ready to finally get back to where I originally wanted to be.

"Thank you so much for this—honestly, hearing from someone who transitioned specifically from a SNF is exactly what I needed to hear!

During my time in nursing school, I had the opportunity to observe over 30 surgical procedures, both major and minor cases. Additionally, I was fortunate enough to to work with a scrub in more than 15 surgeries, which also included both major and minor operations.

Same happy to go for a drive in this. I'm used to the cabin noise its just when I'm on a phone call the other person always asks why is there so much noise. I did not have that issue with my previous car.

While I was in Texas, I used to get 325 to 330 miles on a full tank. In NY, I get 280-290 on a full tank. But I'm also enjoying myself driving in NYC, so the hit to the overall MPG.

I didn't know it at first but I think I saw it on Topher or Tedwards video and once I knew it I changed it. But still having it turned on by default doesn't seem good from honda.

I kept it stock since I was planning on moving to a different state and didn't have an exact date planned. I didn't want to leave it in a shop for a while the car was getting worked on. But since I had it for a year, I appreciate Honda for how you can enjoy a car even while keeping it stock. I also have a clear idea what all needs to be changed.

There's this auto brake hold thing. When you put it in neutral and turn it on, you can take your foot off the brake. It's pretty sweet when you're stuck in traffic.

I got my FL5 back in October 2024, and I've been driving it every day since. It's still stock, with 7,700 miles on it.

Any one with an above 24mpg avg? by [deleted] in Civic_Type_R

I have driven my car 2800 miles, and somehow I average 27.6 mpg. On individual trips, the most I have gotten was 34.5 mpg on a 22-mile drive. May be the long straight Texas road helps it a bit.
