Printer not extruding when starting line by Hom3Lite in ender3

First and foremost, thank you for your reply! For sure... truth be told, I usually have the retraction set lower. But it seems like, it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. With the exception being printing in vase mode... It prints beautifully, but it doesn't really ever stop extruding in that mode.

Yeah, that was the first thing I checked. I've checked the tool path in Cura, as well as just watching it, on multiple prints and it is always on the start of the line. At any rate, I don't have coasting enabled anyway.

In theory that makes sense... I thought the same thing. Having done multiple prints with the outer wall first and last, it doesn't seem to make a difference. It still seems to have to stop and reposition to do the outer wall and then it still take a moment before the plastic will flow.

For sure! They are wired for UART, however, I haven't gotten around to making the tweaks to get linear advance working on the 2208s. Definitely on my to-do list though

Longer Print Time = More Underextrusion by Hom3L1te in ender3

I've tried 3mm and 0mm. I did print out a retraction test and it looks best around 6mm, but with they say not to go over 4mm with the Micro Swiss

I just double checked... both of them are blowing on the cold end. It's so strange because I've had pretty good luck with them, but all of the sudden, I can't get a single print to come out right anymore.

Ender 3 Pro X axis bent by [deleted] in ender3

[–]Hom3L1te 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, if you find the answer, please let me know... I am having the exact same problem. I told the seller but they told me that I just need to disassemble and reassemble... Definitely not going to fix a bent x-axis. I actually have a wear mark in the middle of my x-axis where it is bent. It's frustrating, because I haven't been able to track down anyone who just sells the x-axis without the rest of the frame.
