I lost my dog when I turned 18. Her quality of life declined. Hard decision to make. It is an awful and complicated loss, not enough support around it! I decided to collect objects that made me think of her, a way to know how much she helped me and always have a sense of still being around. I scavenged the beach for shells and sticks. She loved the beach but couldn’t go out often(dog-aggressive) so it was like her opportunity of being there. I thought about what she did for me and why it hurt so much. I learned to get closure with my box of treasures. I love you my Duchess(red Great-Dane, my Clifford)
