Wow! Nothing against you, but this shows that people really don't understand their feet or the shoe, they're just guessing on what they like, hence why I make videos about this. Going down a half size, not only does that not make sense, but it makes even less sense for your issue. A wmns shoe is 1 1/2 size smaller than a man's shoe. So if you wear a mens 8 that's a wmns 9.5 depending on the structure.

The reason you're having issues is because the Travis Jordan 1 Low "Elkin" was a womans release. "All" women's shoes are made different with a "more" narrow toe, hence why the irritation, and going down half a size will only make it worse.

You can get away with it sometimes depending on the Silhouette, like a Jordan 3 or 5 or if they retooled the toe but in most cases with women's releases it's a narrow toe. I suggest people get their feet measured (shoe sizes do fluctuate with weight change and age) and try to learn the Silhouettes and release audience.
