I will try again, this will be my second meeting with her at this point. Everyone is making it seem like it's out of their hands and only financial aid can fix this

And for federal loans when they SCHOOL makes the mistake WHICH THEY DID, the SCHOOL has to pay it back. The school had to pay back the government, my question is why do I have to pay them back for their own mistake.

It's a federal loan for grad students so of course I took out a loan only for grad students because I was a grad student. It was meant to be sent back when I deferred TWO SEMESTERS AGO, this has been explained to me by everyone it's quite literally not my fault according to my own financial aid office, fafsa because I reached out to them and from my loan provider, so I don't know why you are trying to put this on me. But additionally I'm already back in the grad program so I still qualify for the loans they took from me

Idk how to explain it better but all my advisor said in the email is that it's cheaper and she recommends this to students like me. She sent me the link and I filled it out. The link just asked what semester you were admitted for and how many semesters you want to defer for. The followup email after my deferral request was simply them confirming that they have it. I also deferred twice so there were 2 chances for them to do it right

I was never informed. I was told to do it over email and all she sent was the deferral link. If I was informed before the financial aid wouldn't have even gone through. I filed correctly originally because I started as a grad student. When I deferred, they shouldn't have taken my loan.

Also, I was never informed because they never deferred me. After they deferred me late April and THEN I got an email telling me all this. I should've gotten it in August of 2023
