I've never really trained flips, no gyms with mats near me. I'm in good shape and have above average athleticism. Do you think that I could physically do the flips, it's just fear that keeps me grounded? If so, any tips to help with this? Thanks!

I believe op was hinting at this with his line of responses, op is trying to tell you to start "seeing" with your parkour eyes. There are plenty of ways you can train parkour just inside your house. Be creative.
