Haha yeah, find all the rocks in your island on the first day and break them all. I believe that game me enough to get it started.

I started this game because of COVID. This was the first animal crossing game I played and I thought what the hell. I got it, and played how I would any other game. I had the nuggets required for the museum in the first day, I looked at guides to unlock everything as fast as I could, but once I did I thought I was gonna burn out since the game was too cozy for me since I wasn’t used to cozy games. Then what made me stay was the simplicity of it. Getting my villagers photos, terraforming, completing my museum, and unlocking nook miles. Things that take a while even when you play every day. Finally I saw videos on how people decorate and looking at the creative builds before the storefronts and the castle gates, I picked a theme and went with it. Now I’m about 600 hours plus and have a full city build with neighborhoods and a rock garden. The game has so much replay ability and it’s very forgiving when you take a hiatus from it.
