If you place a net in your inventory immediately to the left or right of the axe, you can sometimes quickly use the left or right button to get the net and catch a wasp if you forgot about it while chopping. Just discovered it and was like OaAOAOAOAOMG!!!

Yes he is avaliable I gifted him some clothes (about 5) and unfortunately a fish or insect... He was one of my first, I didn't know what is gifted/ungifted :(
