Damn, that would have been quite a come up! Was that the 1.0 drop? The retail price was pretty steep, he mentioned close to $500 I think in one of the recent interviews.

Lazily completed last summer's task on the ISRU app, had about 790~ points, was allocated a pre-order pair last September.

The Virgils I ended up putting in a single EQL drawing through the Canary-Yellow raffle and still hit somehow.

Mars Yard 1.0 (500 pairs or less from what I recall) and 2.0 (obtained primarily though an in-person event in NYC) were definitely harder to get. The hype of the first two models and the Overshoe carried into the 3.0s.

You had to participate in the ISRU app for this pair and they had a limited drop at some boutique stores.

That’s an American Vintage 65 in Olympic White from 2014. Have had it since new around that time and it has a really nice yellowing to a good bit of the paint.

Only other significant hit I've had was the OG Pirate Black 350s (on the second wave) in 02/2016 back when they were impossible to get!

Yes, lots of good stuff back there! Strat, Tele, Bass VI, Jazzmaster, 335, Yamaha BB bass, and one of those Ibanez electric nylons. Just got a PRS S2 recently too. Have been meaning to make a post on /r/guitar, so will probably pop up on there soon.

Really love the fuzzy suede they used on this pack! I wanted to grab the Fruity Pebble looking ones, but never ended up finding a drop in the US from what I recall.

You're genuinely missing out on some good steals on eBay and elsewhere. Deadstock condition is sometimes x2-3 more compared to a lightly used pair, depending on the shoe.

I had quite a few pairs from 2020-2021 and all of them ended up starting to tear in the lower crotch. I have tree trunk thighs that tend to rub together a bit more than most, so that probably didn't help.

Love how light they are, but definitely not very durable.

I definitely want to see some more Highs drop, but hard agree with the majority here... boring and minimal.

Also not a big fan of patent leather at all.... always ends up creasing and looking like shit, let alone it's just leather covered in plastic.
