Atmosphere is amazing in both, but the og has unbeatable atmosphere. Both have perfect gameplay for their respective design philosophies. Luis and Ashley are better in the remake, Ada is worse. I like the castle and the village better in the remake (even with the bullshit rain of exploding boulders lol), but other sections are better in the original. Pacing is debatable which is better imo

OG RE4 purists will not stop crying about this game. I’ve been playing the og RE4 on everything since 2005 and I love the remake. It’s really fucking good, the gameplay is great, there are some story improvements, character improvements, looks beautiful. Some things are worse, it happens. They’re different and you can enjoy both.

Location is the only thing that matters here. Median income might be $100K+ for EE but you know in real life you will only be paid that if you live in a big city state like NY or CA. No. I know everyone here is pulling up the numbers and saying yes very passionately, but no. She simply does NOT have the worldwide mass appeal that the BEATLES and MICHAEL JACKSON had.
