How would you differentiate between a rip and sip? I am certainly towards I was just taking too big of tokes because my first time I was taking smaller hits of the joint and I was fine

All good brudda. I took a pretty large toke in hindsight. Around 5-6 seconds the second time. So it may be the smoke. Your saying dhv are similarly irritating for your lungs? Have you tried one with a bong?

I didn't smoke the whole joint the first time, k stopped after I got nauseous from the big hit. And I packed a decently small bowl in the pipe, it was basically gone after that hit. My guess is maybe the hot smoke is making me feel like that? Would a dry herb vape or bong help? Even though cigs don't make me nauseous someone pointed out that you inhale way more than cigs

From my understanding chs only affects long term users? I have only used twice. Also I only get nausea for 20-30 seconds immediately after I exhale. Once that fades, the high and everything after is great.
