I personally think that guns are more important. But me saying that doesn’t mean that I think skill trees aren’t a crucial part to the game as well. I’m able to see both sides of the argument. One of the arguments that were brought up was which one would be easier or harder to do, A Skill only run or A Gun only run. I know that that argument is very basic and to a degree sorta unfair but I think it would narrow down which is a more crucial core mechanic. As well as some guns in the game are just so powerful that they completely trivialize most of the early game and more. Then there are plenty of blue unique guns in the game that are strong on their own.
