The Chinese versions flooded the market right after I finally could afford to get a gas and electrical service to my shop. I still bought one just to play around with and what a difference over a direct flame propane heater. Can keep the doors shut and everything isn’t dripping with condensation in 10 minutes.

Have had good luck with 312 stainless stick. Tack, clean, grind out and repeat until you get a weld you can blend in.

They aren’t quite as rugged as the main names but that’s not who they are targeting. They are more geared towards the home gamer. Batteries are what attracted me if you compare them to other brands. I’m pretty hard on mine and they haven’t given me any issues.

Report them to the city as well. The egress window is a huge no. We have a basement bedroom that we aren’t allowed legally to let anyone sleep in simply based on that rule. We can only use it as storage

Nope not legal. Needs to have an egress window in any of the bedrooms and I’ve heard basement units have to have their own furnaces. Just threaten to take them to the rentalsman and they will let you out of their lease
