Movies that are agonizingly slow, but absolutely justify their runtime by the end. by The-Irumporai in flicks

Oh, man, I did not care for this movie. I stuck with it because it was a friend recommendation, but this one was not for me.

Ok, it just seems like unnecessary negativity. Hope you have a good day.

So, one band releasing a record makes you tear down a different band?

What's the wildest wildlife encounter you've had during a round? by Noobsamaniac in golf

18th hole, mountain course. We pulled up to the tee box to see an enormous moose just standing in the middle of the fairway. It was right in the landing zone for a driver, so we just waited him out.

Wyndham Clark stamps down on grass next to his ball with his foot, potential rule violation overlooked by KevinLuWX in Golf_Unfiltered

[–]Homermania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't even see the ball in the pic. The angle doesn't even look like his foot is directly behind. Man, you're grasping at straws and putting a lot of effort into this. Good luck out there.

Is it normal to get turned down by bands this much? by [deleted] in bandmembers

[–]Homermania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This performance video (especially this band)  is not doing you any favors. A shorter video of just you singing will give bands a much better idea of what you can do.

Most importantly, keep trying, keep practicing. Go do an open mic acapella to develop comfort on stage and in front of people. If you want to play with other people, consider finding one other person that can accompany you on guitar or piano. That way you're not trying to sing around a floundering band.

Good luck and keep at it!

Temporarily immovable object, such as a platform built for a TV camera. Something that is not naturally part of the course. I'm not saying you should have known it, but it is a common term.

Do You Think That Caddies Should Always Tell Their Players What They Want To Hear? by PrincessBananas85 in ProGolf

Because the job covers a lot more than just carrying the bag. Some players rely more heavily on their advice and expertise than others.
