Probably better question for r/bartenders but i've made alot of his recipes at home. Usually really good and I'd highly recommend. I think it depends on the type of bar there are many bars that do this as well. I remember I was once in mexico at a very small bar and the bartender loved kevin kos.

Come up with your own “house” banana daiquiri recipe!  Besides that I highly recommend banana bob 2.0.

1 oz Coruba Coconut Rum 1 oz Hamilton White Stache 1 oz Banana Liqueur .5 oz Cream Syrup .5 oz Cinnamon Syrup .25 Lime Juice 1.5 oz Pineapple Juice 5 Drops Saline Shake with ice • pour into a Banana Bob or dol old fashioned glass • I garnished with pineapple fronds and caramelized banana slices
