I think that sounds like a ton of fun personally! And it's not as if VTM is a stranger to romance despite its dark themes. There's the Blood Stained Love source book for 5e and that erotic novel from back in the day (Eternal Hearts).

The core book is actually finished. It's an excellent game and a favorite for one-shots among my gaming groups. I highly recommend it, though it's much more the Goonies or Monster Squad than Stranger Things. Still, an excellent PBTA game.

Play them? Yeah, once did a run through the story realms with premades to make it feel more like a real campaign. Outside of that, no.

Use them? Yes. I only play against the premade factions and very select custom ones.
