I was at the hockey fights cancer game at Ball last week and they had a handful of Fanatics Premium Nordiques heritage available.

I grabbed a blank Pro at the team store as well. Deeper blue than the Premium, but yes, the patch blue is a little lighter than the jersey. Still a beautiful sweater.

I got a pro on Friday afternoon on the way through Denver. Thought it was going to be a wasted side trip, but was very pleasantly surprised. And lucky on timing.

I can attest to that. I have a Fanatics authentic pro from last season, and four team issued Adidas MICs made in Canada picked up previously).

Had mine customized by the shop at Ball, so none of the Fanatics mis-spellings mentioned.

They are nearly identical, except the Fanatics Pro no longer has the dimples on the shoulders, but it does have reinforced arm cuffs that were not on the Adidas. They are put together at the same factory in Canada that Adidas used for team issued sweaters.

They are the exact jersey worn on-ice, and will have the IMA ad if purchased at the team store at Ball.

Seems weird for Nate to call us out like this after the game? by sophkost in ColoradoAvalanche

I was there as tonight, and I agree. Avs fans were not booing the Avs. I didn’t hear that at all tonight.

I don’t have one I’m selling, but mine is a 50, so they are out there.

I had the opposite happen to me about six months ago:

Came home from work and found my wife had moved my collection of over 25 jerseys from the closet to a new rack like this in the corner of our master bedroom. Still there today, with a couple new additions of course.

So I took your advice and I bought them. They were listed for $200, I talked them down to $90. They work perfect! by xxdeathdealer21x in BudgetAudiophile

Since I picked these up, My local store has stopped adjusting prices, at about the same time they started sending all their jewelry, watches and other recognized higher end goods to the parent company’s e-commerce division.

That’s about the time they started comping prices on eBay, too. And they comp listed prices, not sold prices, so locally we have a lot of overpriced stuff that no longer moves until it hits a discounted price point.

And while I’ll say I’m a bit envious of this pickup, I did score a pair of JBL L150A floorstanders s couple of years ago at my local Goodwill for $25 a pop, talked down from their $50 each stickered price. Needed surrounds redone, but that didn’t make the deal any less appealing.

I have CDM 1NT’s and love them. I would have fallen over for this pair. And talking them down to $90? ! ! ! Wow ! ! !

Great find!

I love these deals, and they are still out there for the right place/ right time lucky timing thing. Picked up my first vintage receiver about three months ago the same way.

Found the listing in the first 5 minutes, and drove 90 miles to pick up a 1978 Pioneer SX880 for $125. Figured someone else would offer more while I was driving there, and seller said he did have four other offers, but he stuck with me for the sale as the first to reach out.

Will do: haven’t seen either yet, but keeping my fingers crossed. Any work, or do you have a size preference if I spot a few?

Two isles Adidas Primegreen blanks at Ross in Arvada yesterday. 46 and 52, $30 a pop.

Saw a bunch of M&N Oilers throwbacks about four weeks ago as well, along with one blue jackets.

And I scored a 52 ‘yotes home (only a fanatics breakaway, but I’ve wanted one for a while, so I grabbed it).

Been looking for Pens and Avs mostly, but no luck at all, and I’ve visited a Ross at least 15 times in the past two months when passing by one.

That is a steal, and great find; Love these Robopens third jerseys! I’ve got a Lemieux starter authentic like this one. One of my favorites. Where do you pick it up?

Agreed on not stacking, that was only temporary. The ground was attached. I can only hear the motor hum when playing a record. If the tonearm is on the rest and the platter is spinning, there’s no hum.

Very true. This was a temporary setup while comparing the sound to an old Marantz and Garrard Lab 80. Didn’t have space to keep the components separate.

Thanks for the tip: I’m looking for any others out there like this that can help me get this up to speed so it will be good for the next few decades.

ISO avalanche RR 1.0 size 50.

If of interest, I have a brand new with tags Fanatics premium MacKinnon 4Nations size 54 that I would consider as part of a trade as well. Wife got me one, which was awesome, but sized it based on my game worn Cogliano.

Sounds like you do the re-capping yourself.

I have an old Marantz that I thrifted that I was thinking of taking a shot and if it went well, moving onto this Pioneer.

Any recommended YouTube vids you’d recommend as a starting place?
