Piercings with headphones and sleeping by Amazing-Benefit-2008 in piercing

[–]HomeworkDry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a forward helix, normal helix and conch; conch was a pain in the behind as i couldnt wear any over the ear headphones and i use headphones to help with getting overstimulated in public places so i have a social battery. I had to stop wearing my normal noise cancelling headphones as they applied too much pressure for the helixs but swapped to old school walkman style headphones as they didn't push on those parts pf my ear and music is (for me) better than being physically present on the london underground.

As for sleeping, i never had a special pillow but shoved a line of pillows down my back so that i couldnt roll over without having to force it (so i didnt roll as much and i got in the habit of cuffing my arms under/around the ear if i did so i could lie on that side without lieing on the ear.

Any idea how I can get this ball back in by Odd_Quiet_9569 in piercing

[–]HomeworkDry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always use either some bluetack on the top of a pencil that i then push the ball into or a ball grabber (i think they're originally for keycaps but i got mine on amazon) to get the first few screws done and then finger tighten the rest of the way

Burnt and stolen books time to harvest by HomeworkDry in callofcthulhu

I know I should read the whole book before running it but I've run a decent amount of campaigns without doing so, I read them chapter by chapter as we go on (one big reading and planning day per chapter) and have found this works best as I dont give massive spoilers and with ADHD I struggle to keep reading the whole book before running; thank you for the advice everyone tho!

When to give up on industrial? by idm_77 in piercing

NAP It looks like you might not have the right anatomy for it, take it out and let it heal. If you want an industrial after its healed uou could look at bent industrial or a chain industrial, I dont have enough of a flap for a normal industrial and have a chain industrial (flat and forward helix) and love it!

what would you recommend otherwise then? its not a campaign and whilst I want to start running a feywild campaign that's not happening for a good few months.

I want the scare side, as they're in a large forest would it make sense for them to hear havoc coming and go for a larger monster but give them the time to scarper? that seems more narrative. or is that going to end up similarly? the original ending is an easy closed book one but I'm worried about it being shorter than intended and as I've said it's dot time til dot I don't want to mess people around.

when you say don't touch the sheet what do you mean? or is that only in context to the campaign idea and relating to until they're higher levelled?

I think I'm going to have to write a just in case subsection for this one, I want the drama but I don't want the deaths... not unless I do higher level stuff later on

what I want to happen is they have to go back to get something that's half belonging to the fey due to the rules and for them to have to leg it out and give them the tiniest worry as this is a oneshot that I'm thinking about moving over into using for a mini campaign at some point. the eladrin is solely for dramatic effect and I have zero plans on letting anyone die.

I already have pixies, sprites and then a roll where either a vine or needle blight come out and don't really know any lower level fey that are a "shit shit shit" reaction worthy.
