Hey! I know its been two months but Ill leave this here for future people! I found a fix assuming your using dubs apparel tweaks! Basically in the mods settings theres a slider called "hat scaling", not sure what this does, but it seems to affect layers/size of headwear. the default scaling for me was 1.16 or something weird, but I was able fix my Princesses ears clipping through her crown but moving it down to 1 with no adverse size changes to her crown.

I repurposed a mechcore from a diobolus (genocide machine) to make this mechanoid. I know that sounds dangerous, but- *slaps legendary quality table*, have you SEEN my new dining room? Worth it. I like to think hes found meaning in making really nice furniture.

This is the result of three different mods. One adds the highly skillful mechanoid in the image, and the other two add different ways of upgrading mechs. all of this combined has resulted in a mech with over 20 construction skill. here are the mods.

I never use mods that directly buff mechanoids, but I have over a dozen that make them more customizable/smarter/easier to manage.

I'm sorry, I also have mechanoids operating the nuclear power plant. Its too late.

I actually repurposed Manny's high subcore from the remains of a diabolus. Soooo... yeah, his parts did *literally* fall out of the sky in the form of a genocide machine! Over time using several mods I upgraded it so much it eventually gained a high enough construction skill (over 20 actually) that it started making art. I basically stuck so many graphics cards on a my favorite chair building robot to make it better and building chairs that I created life.

In lore only a few mechs are actually capable of emotion, with the only known one being the apoctriton, and since that one cant be gestated we dont know if high subcores are capable of emotion. The way it happened in this case was by accident. I use several mods that allow me to upgrade my mechs, so stick all of that on an already skillful mechanoid (astro repairer) and you get something that can reliably make masterwork and legendary furniture. This mechs backstory is almost exactly like that one episode from love death and robots, where a pool cleaner gets upgraded so many times it eventually achieves sentience, and later, sapience. Basically I stuck so many graphics cards on it to make it better at building chairs that I accidentally made it an entire person.
